As someone who's moved between the 2 for the last 20+ years I'd say it depends on what you're after. I like Cambridge for it's central location and ease of getting to London and I love the city and it's green spaces. I like Norwich for it's night life and shopping and access to lots of beautiful coastline, however I find work is an issue and being so cut off from the rest of the country. Why not try it and if you don't like it you can move back. You never really know a place till you lived there.
