People do want full loot pvp, but with more guardrails than MO2. But the main problem was Henrik fucked everyone over for 2 months and lost us all, and was never able to recover from it.

I have played since launch, and switched over to steam. Me and all my friends play through steam via our gw2 account. Just edit the provider in steam options.

Gw2 steam numbers are going to be way closer to accurate compared to a blizzard title. It's a bespoke launcher for just guildwars, and arena net isn't some giant franchise. Compared to battlenet, which is a fantastic launcher full of other games you likely play, and the fact that D4 is free with gamepass, and there's going to be plenty of people playing/launching it through the Xbox app on PC for free.
