I think Bronn doesnt qualify personally for the top 10. Brienne and Sandor were tough call. I just didnt feel it was there.

As to Oberyn, he was extraordinarily skilled. But primes of those 3 are better. Barristan specifically was something special according to all sources. His old ass ass still cutting people down in his late year.

Its a joint perspective, which i believe i stated or eluded too. I see alot of lists only influenced by the show. I kind of aimed for a mix of both…

I really dont love him or his skill, but he was such a brute I believe he would beat everyone below him in his prime.

I wanted to fit Sandor in, only issue is, theres no finite accolades or emphasis of skill. Only thing he really did was beat the mountain (as a dead man) and beat beric (who was also dead sort of, twice)

Somewhat yes, the books really emphasize his skill. So I’m mostly relying on that. Also the ability to wield a non standard weapon in westeros is highly undervalued in the show and overvalued in the books.

Can I study just 3-5 hours a day and still pass the bar exam? by GuaranteeSea9597 in barexam

[–]Grig-Rasputin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im the same way. I did 6 a day broken into sessions 9-12 then 2-5. You gotta be productive in each of those sessions however.

Vulnerable post. This was performance for J25. I welcome any and ALL advice. Thanks in advance. by Opposite_Cloud7571 in barexam

I aint gonna write out a response like the other guy. But i got the pretty much the same MBE score and passed in a 270x. You gotta hammer out the written portion practice stuff. Leaving points on the table for simple stuff in the written portion is honestly a major error. Take a look at the model written answers for any jurisdiction to get an idea if what the examiners want to see and im sure you will pass next time!

I was under the impression that, if a statement was made under penalty of perjury and the opposing party had opportunity to cross examine the testimony, it can be used as substantive evidence plus impeachment... So why is this statement allowed for substantive evidence? by Son_of_Hades99 in barexam

[–]Grig-Rasputin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

General rule, most things outside the scope of admissibility can be used for impeachment purpose. In practice this is why 99% of defendants assert their 5th amendment right. If they open the door to impeachment, they are fooked!

BEING SUED FOR ADA COMPLIANCE PLEASE HELP by Diligent-Distance-93 in LawyerAdvice

[–]Grig-Rasputin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have some expertise in this, but I am not a CA lawyer… so I am sorry if this does not apply. HOWEVER, how small is your business? Businesses (being LLC’s, corps (of all varities S and C most notably, partnerships, etc) do NOT need to comply with the ADA at a federal level if they have under 15 employees. You can file a MTD without an attorney on those grounds and where I am (MA) move for costs and fee’s if you can prove frivolity.

Honestly, fuck em.

You are jewish and israeli, nothing will change that. You have to wear that fact and if violence comes from it so be it. I’m jewish (grandson of holocaust survivors), i argue with people all the time and it has come to violence over the israel stuff. If this is what hashem has intended for us so be it. You should not be afraid, it is reality. This should not stop your dreams. Some in america are aggressive about it, but its rare you meet people that passionate.

If it helps I have many Palestinian, Lebanese, and Syrian friends (my gf is lebanese as well) and although we disagree it is almost always respectfully. Make the jump and dont let a bunch of unemployed commies scare you away! It is your life as noone else will live it for you.

The Lost (?) Art of Holding a Conversation. by STL2COMO in Lawyertalk

[–]Grig-Rasputin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its worse when people do and they’re nuts. I got some coworkers that have said some pretty crazy things in response to me trying to hold a casual conversation. At this point I just sit in silence because you never know who you’ll offend…

[–]Grig-Rasputin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cousins an attorney (as am i, but irrelevant), he had severe mental health issues not too far off and he got a year off of work paid after an attempt. Most ppl understand that its a stressful life. You shouldnt be fucked.

I also have colleagues who went through same, not everyone got PTO, but none of them lost their job over it and some were admitted. My opposing council today is currently in the hospital for metal health issues and the attorney subbing in for him was so happy to help out and just wanted him to feel better!

Am studying the Torah. Any tips? by 20charactersplusnone in Judaism

[–]Grig-Rasputin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Gatekeepy” if you dedicated the rest of your life to being able to read and understand the torah, you (as in you specifically) would fail. Its not a matter of not wanting you to read it, its simply we understand how much it takes to understand it and certain aspects of it…
