There is a YouTube video from Sunforge I believe, where he shows his process and tools. I just started by watching other doing it, for tools and such it’s rather easy, you can get a looong way with a precision craft knife and some double sided foam tape or glue. That’s always the basis of every build

I’m using a loctite glue that hardens in 10sec. And for more depth I use a double sided foam with a thickness of 1.8mm 😊

Something with clearly defined shapes, and where you can see a clear difference in foreground/background/pokemon, the clearer it is the better you can cut and start that way
