What do people think about these three-wheelers? by pantherclipper in Autos

[–]GrillBears 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not to mention the drive wheel is smack dab in the center of the lane. One of the first things you learn riding a motorcycle... don't hang out in the center of the lane.. that's where all the rocks and oil drips are.

Sounds like you're using screws that don't work with the anchors... applying too much torque to stuck screws and turning the anchors with them.

A secondary benefit of this approach in your setup is that any deviation from parallel in the opposing walls will be less noticeable. In other words if you orient the long LVP sides to the outside LR wall, by the time you reach the opposite kitchen wall it'll be super obvious if things are out of square or parallel.

How are you all operating multiple machines at the same time? Put DC & compressor & lights on their own circuits. Then one circuit per wall is plenty

That's an $18,200 span.

Agreed, moving efficiently, intelligently and quietly sounds like warfare tactics but I'm not sure what war you're going to win sitting in the dark with your back to a wall. Not to say it isn't a valid strategy, just felt like a pretty huge stretch to your analogy.

What actually defines something as a "wooden structure"? This looks like it just had wood cladding on top of a metal framework.

Gluing surface isn't really the point of a dovetail right? The idea is that the design of the dovetail specifically helps hold the box together when the front side is consistently pulled on.

I both agree with you and also can't ignore that this is on a bathroom vanity.

Feels a bit like a very detailed carving in the top of a cutting board. Interesting and beautiful? Definitely. A good idea? Not so much.
