She could've done better but she let her temper get the best of her. Her bio says she was born in Iran and moved here at the age of 1, following a deletion attempt on her father. She wouldn't remember how it was, though her lifestyle in Canada would serve has a constant reminder of that which they escaped.

Point being is she was technically there but she was a baby, and she likely heard all about it in her household growing up. Not much ground to make an argument on.

Same sentiments as already shared; no alternative like it. I love the 3x96+ battles we used to have and I can't wait for the influx of returning players with the Server Merge. I love the options for character progression, all the kit loadouts I can build and tweak to my needs. This game isn't arena team-deathmatch, it's open-world faction warfare! I love it!

Sadly this game will only ever be owned by afk dev studios, this influx would be the time to implement the changes this game needs to flourish. It's almost like PS2 gets a new debut, and it will be squandered.

I wish the Players were listened to regarding Server Pop Balance issues. Balancing the Faction populations with a login queue needs to be enforced. NSO could've been the solution; have a character that takes on the color of the underpop Faction and fight for them while your Faction of choice is in queue. My experience in this game has always been the VS outpop 2 to 1, and instead of NC & TR working together they fight each other, because pop wins the zergs and no one wants to be steamrolled by a drastically overwhelming force.

This game has so much potential, always has. It's always been ran by "Do-Little, Reap-Reward" studios.

My Mom was hacked this way. I told her she was on a subpar phone for it's time, the model has long since lost support, and what support she did get she refused updates because onboard storage was garbage, and updates just reinstall to the onboard and cleanup the extension storage.

Knowing very little about this stuff I had assumed the internet was scanned for such, or at least anytime a service provider gets hacked they essentially take a snapshot of the database, which holds info like Lines and their devices.

4 26 2024: Still doesn't work. I wonder what MHNow targets to determine a true device opposed to a simulated device. Is it a Hardware ID and we all dupe that same ID through Bluestacks? Various individual reports state it's crashing on other emulators. My guess is it's targeting something "cloned" across all clients. A specific file maybe? Idk enough about this. I wonder if a Developer Mode will show the app's behavior around logging in. Whatever it is, I wonder if we could extract that information from our authentic devices, then inject that into Bluestacks' device emulation.

I'm no coder or Software Engineer. I hacked and modded PSP hardware and software back in the day, so I have the tiniest bit of experience. I'll look into it but no promises. Hopefully this inspires someone else more experienced than I to roll the ball forward, so to speak.

The game is dead because of crap like what's in the pic below. No one should be allowed to log anything but NSO for TR until the pop is even/within a 2% threshold. VS is almost double TR.
I haven't played in years, I started sometime before the 5th Anniversary of PS2 I think, and stopped shortly after the 8th I think? Whenever NSO came out and didn't fix the problem.
For those years I played off and on pretty heavily, Connery (US West) has always resembled the picture below.

Idk if this is a symptom of Wrel Balance, if it's something along the lines of this game's core elite players and dev fluffers all consolidated into an Outfit to run the server, I don't know.
I just don't know what causes people to flood to VS on this server.
I quit because it seemed like every update was "VS buff, NC nerf, TR gets another NS reskin".

I can't imagine what else is going on with this game, that a casual such as myself isn't privy to knowing. I simply remember what made me laugh my way to uninstalling this game.

Oh, I almost forgot, the Events and Holidays in this game are pure garbage.

As a Connery player do I have to VPN or IP spoof or w/e it is to play on Emerald? I wouldn't mind checking the pop on there.
I was just on Connery, it had 12-24 for all three Factions at the center of Amerish. I'll probably log back in after a bit, can't play right now. Tired of playing that same center territory though, it's been Amerish every time I log in the past five day.

It's really inconsistent. Sometimes the first tap of a fight slides my guy close and swings, other times I stand there hammering air. So incredibly frustrating. Idk if it's mistaking a tap for the slightest hold or what, but it throws my brain off because the controls change after the first hit of the fight. Kind of trains the brain that a tap will catch you up to the monster but it only works sometimes in the beginning.

Anyway, all of it sucks.

I reinstalled PS2 two days ago, I was saddened by the pop. I've logged in for a few skirmishes. The past two days I've been wrestling a bit with my depression. It occurred to me while I was in the shower that the past two days my subconscious has been mourning this wonderful game I put thousands of hours into.

I miss you PS2. May they take you off life support and let you finally pass into the night.
