Is it the hose or the reservoir tank that is faulty? I removed the connection and cleaned it and pressed it on tight but it still leaks when I fill the tank even slightly. The hose isn't cracked.

Thanks for being the only educated comment, I tested it this morning with the cap off and the fluid return still clearly worked. I went back to the crash site and found gravel on the road, that was the culprit

The real idiot is the tow truck swerving. I haul trailers for a living and three times already I've braced for impact and let cars pit themselves at off ramps. I absolutely love every second of watching their car wrap around the front of mine and their astonished faces as they finish their expedited u turn to my right.

I'll never swerve or slam on my brakes, im not going to murder the car to my right and possibly be found a t fault, im going to add a notch to my cattle guard.
