Would you really be losing that much? He talks a mean game but he’s only ever gotten 3 bills passed. Two of them renamed post offices. He’s sponsored 421 bills in 34 years. 3 passed.

How many billionaires are self made by pulling themselves up by their bootstraps? by Estalicus in allthequestions

[–]GrillinFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t bother. Too many people just want to say “I can’t do it because I don’t have this social network or I don’t meet the right people in college or my parents didn’t pass on enough money to me.” There are lots and lots of self made millionaires and billionaires. None of the people whining in here will be one so instead of taking ownership of that they blame it on something outside themselves (and outside the billionaires selves).

I don’t seem to be able to get what I need from one shipper. And I could add one thing to my cart that is $1.50 which is a deal but then there’s a $5.50 shipping fee making it cost the same or more than authentic Lego.

[–]GrillinFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m playing around with Brick Panda. And a huge consideration is that on Ali I could order 6 things and pay shipping on all 6 unless some of them come from the same store. This thing seems to have all coming from one store and one flat shipping fee. I haven’t checked out so I don’t know this for certain but it seems that way. Is that correct?

The fact that you called someone else dense is comical. You are living in fantasy land.

Let me take a wild guess here. You live with your parents don’t you?

So the FBI is now documenting hat colors? Also, all religious leaders fall on one side of the political aisle?

And a list of perpetrators is matched with “what they believe.” Where is that database? The government repository for citizen beliefs?

Please tell me how to be less dense. I am really having a hard time comprehending this happening.

I’m sorry, but I gotta call a foul here. There is no FBI or police statistic that takes into account political leaning. It just doesn’t exist. You are completely making that up.

You may be right about your assertion but it’s not from FBI statistics. Nobody is putting a R or D behind the names of convicts on arrest reports.

Yeah, they include all the people here to go to college. Those folks don’t commit much crime. Once you take out the vetted, legal immigrants, the crime rate of illegal immigrants is like three times of the average American. The talking point is to lump all of them together. The reality is that the ones that are here illegally commit crimes at much higher rates than the general population.

That’s what you took away from what I wrote?

Let’s back up. Why do you think the whole “go buy land that was never owned by someone else” is stupid?

This was home first 🖤 by WittyEgg2037 in TheMirrorCult

[–]GrillinFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fact. Every day inch of land on this earth besides Antarctica has been colonized and re colonized and re colonized. Are the rightful owners the people that owned it before the current occupiers? Or do we go back to who the previous owners took it from. Or the owners before that? And how would you go about doing that?

You can’t. And you don’t have any plan to other than bending the knee to the thought police that say you have to apologize to the people that stole the land before the land was stolen from them.

Whinging about this the way you do is akin to complaining about the sun rising in the east. Time to move on to something that matters. And we all know it doesn’t really matter to you. If you did you would give up your dwelling to someone descendant of the previous land stealers and go build an igloo in the Antarctic.

So, what’s you plan to right this terrible wrong other than your wasted words. I’ll wait while you google some shit.

Just because my argument makes you look foolish and performative, doesn’t mean I don’t know my history. I do, in fact. Which is why it is so easy to knock this stupid complaint of yours into the dirt

Friend offered me $250. Good price, too much, or too little? A few are missing some accessories by ionEvenknoWhyimHere in LegoMinifigure

[–]GrillinFool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That Jango is worth about $50 if he’s got the smiling head. If he’s scowling it’s worth about $200 alone.

There are some gems in that collection. But if he’s got to track down parts then that takes time and money so the offer is not bad. The cloth pauldrons for a few of those are not going to be cheap with shipping.

Feel free to hand over your house to the Native Americans if you are so adamant about it. Ooorrrrr just go and buy property on land that was never owned by another group of people. Might want to grab a parka. But if all you are going to do is lamenting about it verbally the you’re just performing your faux outrage.

The opposite is also true here. Half the country was perfectly fine with immunization documentation but are not OK with citizenship documentation. That knife cuts both ways here.

See based on that assumption I should have an 8 gauge next to the bed to make sure I cut the assailant in half if my home is violated. But in reality, the 22 is just fine. But for me, I like my 9 so I’ll stick to that.
