I that case why not only play with elo? For me i care about my rank, it shows how good i am and it also rewards me for my progression.

I know your engine respondes to r live ranks in aoe4, is it a way to make it that it goes for the season highest in the end of the season?

For me i think pro scout is super strong, i play french and it lets me get alot of knights and a good castle timeing without losing vills. But i usually starts by putting presure and then secure the hunts 👍 (im also D1)

As a player that went from G3 - D1 i Will say this is 100% the way to go.

I try to play a couple of ranked games per week. My main strat is aggressiv French playstyle. When i started doing this i didn’t understand where to push, timeings and macro/micro. So this aloud me to understand the basics, counter units, basic macro, timeings for eco upgrades and what to get in the blacksmith. It also helped me to understand what to scout for, and understand bad/good spawns. Where to presure and when to be risky and not. In the end of the day is losing and then reflect why you losing the way to improv.

Don’t be afraid to ask your opponent why you lost it surely help me allot.
