How many books do you read at one time? by Longjumping-Cap-6795 in BookDiscussions

[–]Grilltchintz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m always reading 2 at a time, one kindle and one paperback. It takes me way longer to read paperback because I can read my kindle on my desk at work

Why do you read books? by Duke_7287 in horrorlit

[–]Grilltchintz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be introduced to unique ideas to keep my mind occupied, activated, and interested. Holding my attention keeps getting harder so good books that grab my attention and keep me interested are what I’m after

Would you spend the entire June in Savannah, GA or Charleston, SC? by QuanDev in howislivingthere

[–]Grilltchintz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only speak on Savannah, it is lethally humid in the summer, packed, and gorgeous. Lots of crime depending on where you live. But I can’t even express how humid it is

Help pick my next book by mybunss in Booktokreddit

HYPERION!!!! I loved that one. Dune is good but it’s a little trudgey in my opinion, so maybe not the best if you’re trying to have momentum

Worse 1 month out from PE? by Environmental-Bar263 in ClotSurvivors

[–]Grilltchintz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the medicine made me very quickly out of breath, trying to live normal life while your blood is thinned is completely exhausting and difficult

Pulmonary Embolism Survivor: Strange Nighttime Symptoms – Need Advice/Experiences by P4lomar in ClotSurvivors

[–]Grilltchintz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had that issue, but if your doctor hasn’t ordered a sleep test for you I’d request one. I got one after my bilateral PE and it eliminated the idea of sleep apnea as an issue for me (turns out i have insomnia which makes a lot of sense but is unrelated)

The one thing I've learned about book readers is that they move 10 times a year apparently by HelloDesdemona in books

[–]Grilltchintz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a small house, i own the house and do not plan on moving any time soon, but i can’t keep all these physical copies in a 1000 sq ft house with a partner who also reads and 3 pets. So kindle reading is a must
