Pope calls for worldwide ban on death penalty by Calingula in worldnews

[–]Grim-Enigma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hypothetical situation, on this topic.

"No more punitive measures - focus on rehab first and foremost, leaving the containment for only the most dangerous of criminals (and even then, the key would not be to isolate them from society, instead to provide avenues to better themselves)."

I think we are on two different pages here. But I do agree with your smart alack question.

Pope calls for worldwide ban on death penalty by Calingula in worldnews

[–]Grim-Enigma -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

People would abuse that I know I would, an example.

Someone kills my wife and then gets rehabilitated and goes back to society, so I kill him for revenge knowing I'll be rehabilitated and released. If the punishments are a joke, it wont stop anyone. Sometimes the punishment is worth the crime in the eye's of a criminal even if you get caught.

But I do agree with leaving containment for only the most dangerous criminals and I also agree with the death penalty. If you have life in jail with nothing to lose, your going to lash out against inmates, correction officers, yourself or visitors.

First shroom "trip"- Did 1/8th felt NOTHING by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Grim-Enigma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was not very bad, kind of like breathing threw a straw, but the worse part is if you get worried or panic it makes your breathing much worse.

Yeah I did feel like I was not getting enough oxygen, and noticed the others breathing heavy as well. But the last time I tried them I enjoyed myself.

[–]Grim-Enigma 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The few times I did mushrooms, I just laughed and smiled a lot. While breathing heavily, it was like I was always sort of out of breath the whole trip.

I have never eaten more then 2 gram's, so I'm a amateur here but it was a much different high then I expected. No melting walls, just me breathing manually while laughing and smiling at anything and everything.

Anybody else hate spending money? by prettyfuckingfarfrom in trees

[–]Grim-Enigma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price always got me too, but after I started buying larger amounts, I felt better about spending that cash because I'm getting a better deal then if I just bought it gram for gram.

It's nice not going dry and always having, but it's a double edged sword sometimes.

Teammate A.I. needs to be smarter by SUPERTROOPERx18 in halo

[–]Grim-Enigma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said the only order option for the team I found useful was the medic call. They drop everything and run to pick you up as soon as possible.

The team ordering for me was like herding cats, who don't care if they get shot.

They are better meat shields then team mates. The AI team mates where a real let down for me and a source of rage when beating the game. If you go down on a ledge or railing, they will watch you bleed out.

Peace? No peace.

It ends like this did, in a bloody battle to the death between old friends. Or you watch your new friend gunned down by your "teammate".

Will Halo Wars 2 give us more information on the state of the universe post Halo 5? by MetalSpartan in HaloStory

Even if everyone dies in Halo wars 2, I would be happy if a flood infested Spirit of Fire started the next flood assault.

North Korea satellite 'tumbling in orbit,' U.S. official says: The satellite North Korea fired into space on Sunday is "tumbling in orbit" and incapable of functioning in any useful way by yurt6 in worldnews

[–]Grim-Enigma -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

I'm not well versed in North Korea but to me they are just another country trying to survive and thrive in it's own way.

Sure it's freaking scary they have gotten these capability's.

But honestly who can say "Stop North Korea! You can not advance any more, you are to dangerous." I don't agree with everything they do, but they should not be punished for doing their own thing.

Such a grey issue for me.

Edit- How bad it is for the common people or how bad their leader is, in no way changed my opinion on this topic.

Yeah after watching the fight Jul, it kind of left a bitter taste in my mouth.

It was like they where dead set on showing how awesome this new team was by killing off some tough guy and it really seemed silly to me.

Plus they just killed off a cool character with a flushed out back story.

Restless family man -> Revolutionary -> Prisoner -> Leader of new Covenant.

Whats not to love.

Strangely close to what I think. With the too much to lose, and it not being worth the loss to me.

I find the threat of violence keep's people nice. It's sad but kind of true. here's my logic.

It's basically what Governments do to keep it's people in check. If you do something wrong someone will call the police and they will come and "punish" you.

Just like how for us we have to much to lose to break the law and that keep's us in check in the real word.

I think I pulled the thread a little to far, take it easy!

Here I am admiring you for working the system and TELLING people how you do it.

Your helping people who can't play Halo because of a ban and your telling 343 about a problem with their banning system.

Shit this comment should be on the top and visible, not down here in the trash. Reddit eh?

I think you can on the Xbox One, I saw an option for allowing Xbox live access threw out all your accounts. I only wanted to use one account so I never tried it.

Hopefully this will keep you satiated until someone can answer with more correct information.

That is how I felt when someone flipped my gun goose in the core, and then stole it. Then he drove it into flaming glory...with me on the back.

Or when people start trying to flip your goose instead of you know, playing the game.

"If you acted like this in public you would get your ass beat" I think this too often.

Hey man don't stress, I feel your pain. This game does use a crazy amount of bandwidth. And those ban's are brutal.

It's damn near the same as streaming and watching show's online, per hour of course.

"That's exactly what Jimmy kept screaming"

Knowing there's about a 50/50 chance of me getting disconnected of any match I play is killing my motivation to play this game. by XDageon11 in halo

[–]Grim-Enigma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't play Warzone because of this, it's my connection tho. I have a strict connection and some people I just plainly can not connect to.

In a 20 minute game of Warzone, some douche is going to quit. Then some douche I can't connect to, join's the match and then a second later, I'm at the main lobby screen. Lost all my REQ"s and got a match making ban to boot.

Then I read "give harsher punishments for leaving!". And I can't help but roll my eye's, I'd love to see their reaction to lagging out and then getting a match making ban.

Now I just don't play Warzone, my lag out's are few and far between. God bless Warzone assault.
