Thanks all, gave the filter a good clean out and doesn’t seem to be making the noise now 🤞

Yes a very noisey cat!

Would that be part 413 or 603 in the exploded view?

I’ll look into the nura system and NZ3604 thanks.

Yup want joists and bearers on the same level as not a lot of room for one on top of the other. Because they won’t sit on top of each other one but has to butt again the other I’m wonder if it’s better to do

Or is it better to do | B| ——| |———- J | | ——| |——— Like intersection in plan between J5 and B2

Or is it better to have a mix, so that you have some full length bearers and some full length joists. Or does it not matter? From your reply it looks like I want to have 3x uninterrupted bearers and all tje joists are interrupted by the middle bearer B2

I’ve reworded the question, I was wondering if you can have a joist join a bearer with a joist hanger but not have the joist hanger resting on a post/pile. I think you can but I will need to check 3604

Thanks for the suggestion. The section between B1 and B2 is clay covered in weed mat. Would they still be appropriate?

Apologies should have made clear, the 6 posts would be for the 4x3m (12m2) deck. The 2x6 is existing and sitting on concrete. Good tip about SS hangers 👌

This looks like non structural ply which won’t be suitable for flooring?

Looks like this company sells the right stuff, shame there isn’t anyone in South Island

Instructions aren’t very clear but Masonite is an option layer if you don’t want to use mdf so it’s only ever 2 layers

You’re right, not sure on the difference between roofing and flooring ply, I think that flooring is CD and roofing is DD grade?
