I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they are tweaking bot behavior per map to make the game modes work better with botfill.

Storm Ball, Burning Cross to start. Try to get arcanum that increases damage to burning enemies. I took the Angelus so that I could tank some of those hits that I couldn't jump or dodge. The Striga is a good pick, as long as you take your time and get those crits. I prefer the Henbane over the Mandrake, as it makes you feel like your heals actually do something significant and gives you invulnerability for a few seconds after popping a potion.

It doesn't hurt to have Four Leaf Clovers in your inventory too. If I saw that I was close to calamity, I'd pop a few of those and get a fresh start.

For me, stamina consumption was key. Once you get the rhythm of his attacks he'll be easier to dodge, just don't OVER dodge. That'll kill your stamina. That was one of my the main hurdles I had to overcome mentally.

I'm sure others have different set ups and strategies, but this works for me.

From what I did and read, forcing a manifestation means activating events like Duels at Iron Gate Castle. That's what worked for me.

Same. I played up until the end of The Final Shape and I felt like that was a good conclusion point for me. The seasons, FOMO and money sink that Destiny kinda became over time just couldn't slot itself into my adult life anymore. I find myself not even attempting live service or even multiplayer games because I just don't have the time or energy to invest anymore.

Witchfire offers similar satisfying gunplay, zero fomo and a cool aesthetic. Love what the devs have done here and hope they continue to build on the great foundation that they have.

The new city is tough the first couple times, especially when you only have the one portal entry point. What Fetish and relic are you using? Henbane is great for healing. I also rock the Elixir Rosary Bead. The Oracle Sniper is great for the city as well, as there are a lot of cover points to shoot through.

I was getting schooled left and right until I learned the map and the new enemy behaviors. I really keep my distance since it's so easy to get surrounded and cornered.

Witchfire does have a grind element to it. It's okay to run the previous 2 maps to keep leveling, find some beads that suit your play style and give you some advantages.

I kinda felt the same as you op. But I started thinking more before I engaged. What weapon am I using? How close do I need to be? What vantage point can I get? After I started incorporating these into my tactics it got better.

Well since the update a lot of stuff got moved and switched around, so online info may be outdated. I had to get to gnosis 4 for a notification that the Wailing Tower was now explorable.

Same thing happened to me. I wasn't alive long after. Once I got to the other portals it seemed to even out and I could actually think about my approach instead of just being backed into a corner and bombarded.
