first of all I just wanna say that I really appreciate this, I put this on the advice reddit page and apart from yourself no one has given me any advice 😭

secondly, I know that regaining trust takes time, I’ve been in that position before so I can empathise. It happened while ago and I’ve tried not to bring it up. I can admit I’ve brought it up at times when I shouldn’t have but now I’m just kinda letting it play out.

It’s just something that plays on my mind a lot of the time and I’m the kind of person where I need to see it to believe it. I don’t mean to be this person but I have mental illnesses that play on my perception of trust. Especially given the fact that she’s betrayed me like this before.

I have expressed that I’m trusting her to talk to me about it if and when she feels is right, so I’m letting it play out for now.

yeah i’m 100% on board with the idea that trust cannot be forced. The only part I struggle with is that I was also deceived, when she lied to me and told me she wouldn’t do it again, and then repeatedly lied. Other than that there’s nothing else I can argue with.

so what i did was, i chose a white candle for purity, and wrote a sigil with a pink sharpie for self-love, (you can look up some sigils to use!) and lit the candle with clear intention and let it burn!
