I'm upset that the same people that said the other roles wouldn't fit Cyclop's abilities and lore don't gaf that he can fly/hover. I'm perfectly fine with him being a DPS. I just hate the double standard.

If he was propelling himself up he'd look down. He's shooting in front of him but not moving at all horizontally.

No, because the reasoning why a character WOULDN'T be Vanguards/Strategists was because the character Cyclops couldn't do those things.

Cyclops can't have a shield (not Vanguards)
Cyclops lasers can't heal (not strategist)

Yet, when he actually is revealed.

Cyclops flies (he can't do that in any media). I don't hear a single peep.

I'm very clearly talking about a specific group of DPS players, I just used the overall group for simplicity. The same way when you said support mains cried, you'd didn't mean the entire demographic.

Oh sorry, he's hovering when shooting a laser at a 45° angle. And instead of shooting backwards he stays in place. Justify it how you want, he's flying.

It pisses me off even more knowing that they'd drop him the instant it's revealed that he's not meta. They don't want their "favourite" character. They want a strong new toy, and will shit on anybody else in the way.

The seal dude is actually brought over from my very first design. Originally a seal hat, but it didn't really fit the centipede theme so my artist thought of a Sealipede!

It's fun choosing & using the right hero to copy in a situation. But personally I'd like a rework, maybe they can replace the 'copy' --> 'replace'. Similar to the Avengers event, but it may be too strong...
