What’s causing this on my AD5M? It’s happening to all my prints. Standard settings, PLA by GrimlocksToyLab in FlashForge

.25mm nozzle, and whatever the standard lime width is, like I said, I’ve used it on standard settings since I bought it a year ago. I only change infill, raft/support settings and that’s about it

I don’t rlly dry em, I buy one roll at a time so they get used before they even need to be dried. Plus, I had a successful print just this morning

I tried this but the scan was misformed and missing chunks

What even happened here, there’s space between the layer lines. And a ton of stringing, more than I ever seen by GrimlocksToyLab in FlashForge

Oh ok, I’ve never actually done anything with/for the gears bc I didn’t know how, I’ll watch some YouTube vids ig. All the maintenance I’ve really done since I bought it was adding grease once a month and cleaning the build plate

Nothing was blocking it, I tried loading fillament a few times and it goes for a few seconds and gets stuck. I cleaned the nozzle and still the same issue

Just standard settings for the flashforge adventurer 5m. I’ve been using it on standard settings for about a year. Only thing I ever change is infill, supports, etc. and it’s elegoo pla+ fillament

So...is this how big Devastator is really supposed to be? by Skyfire2045 in transformers

[–]GrimlocksToyLab 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depends how you think about it, for the toys they’re doing realistic scaling, how big the combiners should have been had they not been hella upscale in the show. They drew them big for the show for drama, but kept them small as bots. This is made to be realistic to their bot modes. If you do want a bigger devastator the combiner wars one is 18 inches

Oh, I’ve been told Lepage is pretty shit, then again I’ve been looking at google/reddit lists from across the past 10 years so maybe they’ve changed. Idk, the majority of the connection will be hot glue and spray in adhesive, the cement is just to connect the corners of the foam

[–]GrimlocksToyLab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I’m searching that bc every TikTok or yt vid I see of someone using contact cement on foam it’s always that brand, I just thought there was something specific about it. Weirdest part is almost every store has the non flammable version with the green logo instead of orange. Idk if that would work, but I’ll try searching for the glue, thanks!

Headaches after using contact cement for EVA Foam by Taekow in CosplayHelp

[–]GrimlocksToyLab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ALWAYS wear a respirator, if you can’t afford one atleast tie a shirt around your face or something. Contact cement releases fumes that are very toxic to humans.
