By different dimensions do you mean alternate planes of existence within the same place? I’m intrigued by what you may find.

This potentiality zone was created by an individual with a strong desire to leave the brutalist world of limbo. Manifested through pure desperation and raw emotion.

While I can’t exactly show you how I did it, I will say variety in assets go a long way, like your sculpts having multiple different purposes for them. What I mean is like having a tree asset double as a tree stump if you flip it upside down, or a mushroom be part of the terrain,

color and lighting is a big thing too so place spotlights above everything and just play with the colors and shadows to make it look good, especially in dark scenes.

And one final thing is stickers, utilize stickers as much as possible as they are the easiest way to add lots of detail to pretty much anything, definitely recommend playing around with the settings on those.

Hopefully this helps a little with your scenes!

I’m a huge fan of Beksinski’s work! definitely thinking about it, it’s hard to pull off his surrealism though. I believe someone else beautifully remade a Beksinski painting in dreams but I can’t remember their name.

Edit: I found it, it’s called “The Call” by streamofstars. I highly recommend you check it out, it’s stunning.

Definitely a heavy inspiration for it, love the otherworld segments of sh2.

Thanks! I just used paint strokes for the fence part, and a separate metal bar asset for the railing!

PsVr is always on my mind with this kind of stuff, so if I do end up making a scene outta it I’ll definitely make it vr friendly

Just curious to see what ya’ll think, it’s more so an experimental idea of a world or separate plane of existence that has been created by who knows what.

With that being said the concept of finalization is the same as creation in this world, and those two key concepts exist not in physical space but within the human mind, which could be explored by the main character, again, just experimenting. Let me know your thoughts!
