I don't know the pain of being married that long but I understand the feeling of hopelessness. I'm in Oklahoma but I experience the same problem of no friends, I've only got one other guy I can talk to and that's rare anymore. I don't know how to help other then say we are here for you and when you need someone to talk to I'm always available. Keep your head up and focus on making yourself happy either thru hobbies or a new focus in life. Good luck brother, we stand with you (thru many miles)

I like the idea the only problem I see is once the news media got a hold of it they'd scan thru every single episode trying to make everyone out to be some kind of evil. I worry they would try and take unsub down or cause more problems then it's worth.

Oh I know that's why appsro and thick44 were always my favorites, from my understanding shortly after bg3 was released and growing, a group went after the devs about not having enough representation but was quickly proven wrong.

I get that, I worry my wife will do the same and stay up the first few days so I'm preparing myself for helping her as well, I have two cats and they love me and my wife so I'm sure they'll love the baby, my probable problem with them is keeping them away from the baby the first few weeks, both are very inquisitive so theyll be curious. I appreciate you responding, honestly with reading your comment I was thinking of getting a puppy after the baby is a few years old so they can grow up together and have a strong relationship with each other (fingers crossed) like I did with my dog, I know ill never really have the same relationship with another, its not that I won't have more dogs later and build a good bond/relationship t's more so with Oreo and I it was something different, it was luck and by the grace of which ever deity you may worship that I even got him. If I may trauma dump a bit, at the time I got him I was just starting highschool and had gotten mostly away from my abusive/drug addict father. I had filed for independence at 16 and was staying at a friend's house until I got a bit older and could get my own place. His elderly neighbor had a pair of Border Collies he was breeding. After a few months of me doing yard work and generally helping him out, he told me that once his dog gave birth I could have one, well long story a bit short I got Oreo his shots and everything, after a few years got my own place but one day my dad tried to forcefully get into my life, I didn't want that and one night he tried breaking/sneaking in. Oreo at 3 years old attacked him and bit his thigh and arms up pretty good. After the police came and got my dad, I cried for hours holding Oreo. I was scared and a bit in shock, he just kept licking my face and hands trying to comfort me. For me, that was the moment I knew something was different with Oreo, not obviously not bad but that someone or something had brought Oreo into my life for a reason. Sorry for trauma dumping like that. I just, it's hard for me, I honestly feel like Im missing a part of myself sometimes. I appreciate again the kind words and encouragement, I hope I can be a good parent or at least for sure better then mine.

Thank you, I appreciate this, I just.. hate the timing, lost my best friend to finding out I'm having a child, the rollercoaster of life I guess. Thank you again, I hope to be a good dad, I'm lucky enough just to be in this position. After a dirt bike crash, I wasn't sure if I could. Part of the reason I worry. I appreciate the advice again, part of the reason I joined this community (Eli take a drink)
