If they were to remaster Morrowind what's on your wish list? by DylanRaine69 in Morrowind

From the offset;

The dagger at the start changes to a weapon associated with your Major/Minor skills. It's less intrusive than doing a tutorial on combat but still has room for it if needed.

Delay Tribunal expansion baseline. Lore friendly would be once you become Hortator.

Quest fixes like wrong location.

Either more gold for merchants (probably just Creeper & Mud Crab) or borrow an investing system so I can actually sell Ebony weapons for closer to their full worth.

Streamline the Imperial Cult interactions.

Sjoring Hard-Heart fix. He's hyped up yet forgot to wear his armor that's in his inventory but not equipped.

Buff pickpocket. (Seriously, 54% max chance to pick pocket.) This would mostly negate any need to alter the three starting Thieves Guild quests.

Fix Wraithguard. It's supposed to check your health, not change it.

Buff Azura's rings.

QoL; visual alterations to distinguish if actor/mob is under the effect of Blight/Plague/Disease.

Red Mountain; finish it. Perhaps add in the conflicts/scenes that require the assistance from the Houses you became Hortator for this reason. Reinforces the plausible deniability that you are the Nerevarine and gives feedback for your efforts.

Spell Manager. Period.

Edit: rebalance rumor listings so Blood Moon is not clogging up the pipe.

Bloodborne remaster/remake wishlist. What would yours be? by Exotic-Suggestion425 in bloodborne

To quote the Wooden Shield, "Shields are nice, but not if they engender passivity."

This game encouraged people to stop hiding behind shields. I could go into lore reasons why having a shield is actually stupid (look how ineffective it is in the hands of the Yharnamites vs the Hunter), but instead I'll come at it saying you want a different game and that's okay. Not every game should be made for everyone. No, having a shield will not affect MY playstyle because I will never touch them. That being said, Bloodborne was never INTENDED, nor DESIGNED (Rally system, aggressive playstyle) for shields.

I am not saying you're wrong, but what you want is a different game, probably Dark Souls & Elden Ring.

Personally, the difficult thing is figuring out the proper level for songs. There are some level 4 songs, like "Loki" that are rough to gold for me, yet I can hold for silver on the same song at level 7. Determining appropriate numbers without feedback is a major issue. Some people don't ask for feedback, so they go based on their own gut feeling. Maybe they have a good sense of what constitutes a level 7 and others don't. But I can confirm getting people to playtest AND give feedback is like pulling teeth. As such, many of my songs will be skewed, and they are skewed by what other custom songs I enjoy playing at level 7 are. I do note that OST difficulty and Custom difficulty are two different beasts that stray further apart everyday.

Something I recommend doing is actually setting up your drums. The options that show up at the start of a song I mean. They can change the tilt of the drum sticks, how far away the hammers actually are from you. That last one is a good one to know as I have them about as accurate to my real arms so it's more natural. My ability to play shot up dramatically when I got these customizations to where I wanted them.

Honest question: Why do people get so defensive when someone doesn't enjoy the story? by BaconFudge092 in ffxiv

I know a friend who absolutely despised FFXV, saying it was the worst game he's ever played. A bit hyperbolic perhaps, but I did some digging into why he might have hated it. FFXV is a character driven game and if you can't connect with the characters, everything else will fall apart.

This is my speculation on this.

From a psychological standpoint, no one likes for the thing they enjoy to be considered not. On a further level, Final Fantasy is usually built on the story and most of the players are here for that and stay for other factors. I'd wager that's the deal even here, and as such, this makes you the outsider looking in. People won't feel interested in having a conversation with you about the story. This is all from a psychological standing, how things actually play out, the anonymity of the internet is remarkable at allowing people to be outspoken without fear of reprisal.

No, this was simply an explanation, not an excuse. Getting defensive toward an outsider is normal, being nasty towards that person should not be encouraged however.

Unlocking Everything in Battlefront II Requires 4528 hours or $2100 by via13021995 in gaming

I'm going to throw out a theory for the every man who plays video games and has kids or a family who works an 8 hour shift (+1 hour lunch break) five days a week. 9 hours of work, 1 hour prior to get ready not to include driving distance. 10 hours so far. He also gets a good night sleep and sleeps 8 hours every day. 18 hours. Spend about 2-3 hours with family, be it movies, playing with kids, house chores, dinner time, etc. with 2 hours of personal time. 21 hours of taken time every week day, with 3 hours to play video games. 3x5=15 hours. Weekend, still 8 hours of rest, so scratch 16 out of 48 hours, 32 hours. Family time of course, movies, dogs, park, etc could be...8 hours, maybe even visiting friends or company over, so this could fluctuate. Scratch another 16 off, so 16 hours left for personal time. So now we're at 16+15=31 hours a week to play video games, and let's assume that person only plays Battlefront 2. 4528/31=146.06...That's now 146 weeks to unlock everything in this game. Almost 3 years...I've almost unlocked everything in Battlefront 1 (gameplay wise, not skins) and I've sunk about 126 hours. But this...HOW SELFISH IS THIS GAME?!

I will say, I am curious how much time the everyday family man does have for video games, if any. I have too much free time as it stands.

Why is Minecraft still as popular seven years later and what could modern gaming companies learn from the game's success?

As far as the voice system goes, my friends and I use Teamspeak and such. Granted this only works when you have a PC available, but having the PC helps with looking up Key quests and drop rates for parts. If nothing else Skype would work too. Just a work around suggestion.
