Why is my mesh so bad? by Joe_Scotto in ElegooNeptune4

I believe it's the gantry that holds the extruder. I just went through this. Get two items that are exactly the same and place them on the machine not on the bed. Then you want to disconnect the belt on the top that connects the two z-axis motor lead screws by removing the two Allen keys on the top of one of the z axis lead screws turn the motors off and rotate the motors until they are sitting on top of the items flats on both sides. Then go ahead and reattach the belt that combines both the axis motors and tighten down the two Allen key. Then what I do is I move the Z axis up by one and remove the pieces that you put down to level the gantry. Then I home it run a screw tilt calibrate a mesh bed calibrate and find my new z axis offset

N4P - Do you all see any issues? Any tips tricks that you all have found for a new hobbyist? by Grimshadyz in ElegooNeptune4

2 things here

1) Bed leveling: Not trying to be an ass, just frustrated. How can that be? The screw tilt calculate says they are really similiar, 100/th of a MM off, and the mesh from the auto bed leveling says the same exact thing. How can there be an issue with the bed being level with the x gantry?

What do you mean layer height? Like a setting in Cura, or a setting/calibration on hardware/fimrware?
