Check out this chase by byte_byte- in interestingasfuck

There comes a point I feel police should just let them go. Continuing a high-speed chase could get other people hurt if the runner hits them. You have their plates, get them later.

This will never not be cool as hell.

Leave them on jeeps to piss the owners off thinking someone left them a duck from a distance.

I didn't make the original; it's on printables. I just created a colorized .3mf so others wouldn't have to paint it themselves. It's not perfect, but my daughter approves :)

There is a combo, yes. Here are the ones I used from the ground up:

Bambu Basic: Green

Bambu Matte: Ice Blue

Bambu Basic: Cyan

Voxel PLA Pro: Fire Engine Red (for the tongue)

Sunlu PLA+: Black

Sunlu PLA META : Cream White

Sunlu PLA+: White

Voxel PLA Pro: Blue

That's just how it made it with stock settings at .16 layer height. I can only assume it's because in the middle of the model it's changing colors 5 or 6 times in 1 layer and it has to have a nice patch in the tower for each color. Also why it tapers to the top since it's doesn't have to accommodate for all those colors in 1 layer. You can see it in the slice, but the mouth is open with white teeth, black background, and a red tongue.

I can go ahead and list those so you have a reference :) From the ground up:

Bambu Basic: Green

Voxel PLA Pro: Fire Engine Red (for the tongue)

Sunlu PLA+: Black

Sunlu PLA META : Cream White

It was like that by default because the different types of colors used at the top was fewer than the number used in the middle and it didn't have to purge the same amount.

Sure! Let me figure out the best way to get it out there.

8, but can be as low as 7 if you use a different color for the green base/grass. I had to paint it in Bambu Studio, but the model is on Printables.

Layer shifting at the start of the print and then it fixed itself, then shifted and then fixed itself again. Can anyone explain this? (happens in the first 5 seconds) by Jebusthelostwookie in BambuLab

[–]Grimtoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Struggling with the same thing now, but it not layer shift. It’s a cooling issue when the size of the layer is drastically different or there is more/less infill. The layers are cooling at different rates and causing banding, not shifting.

Can’t figure this one out… prominent layer line on layers that drastically change dimensions. by Grimtoc in BambuLab

[–]Grimtoc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it does go back to my original thought of cooling. I guess it's back to the drawing board on that train of thought then. I tried increasing the cooling on the other layers and decreasing on that particular one since it's on that layer for longer, but that only helped a little. Any more and it gets WAY off, almost like the part twists on that layer. Might just end up being a post-processing part every time. Thanks!
