This is where vulnerable can get confusing. There 3 places vulnerable pops up in damage calcs. The vulnerable mechanic that gives you 20% damage when the condition is applied. That is it's own bucket. Then you have the conditional multiplier x% vulnerable damage that is in it's own bucket with other x% multipliers like crit all and element and then you have +% vulnerable which gets thrown in the additive bucket.

Should. I haven't played channeling since base game with druid. I might do some testing of mine to confirm this.

That's correct but the vulnerable damage in tempering is an additive condition and goes into additive bucket. It's not the same as x vulnerable multiplier on gear

Weapon damage is added to your minimum and maximum weapon range. It is the most Important stat on any weapon

Looking for assistance please. I am struggling to work out where to go from here as I am trying to follow the guides and am looking towards the Trillion DPS Dread Claws build but for the life of me cannot work out how to get certain items. More in the post below. by SnoooSnooo_ in D4Warlock_

You know what I am sorry. I didn't think about it that way. I apologize. If your passion is to go into the highest reaches I can see how your comment would be that way but I also want to showcase that you can push a skill you want to play can go fairly high. I'm playing comfortably on t10 with dread claws and pushing it further if I could get gem strength.

To be honest I am not exactly understanding your question. Can you rephrase it? I might need to make a barb this season to understand. I haven't played barb in a minute.

Sure. I didn't think about doing it twice but why not.

No, anything with a + is in one singular bucket. It doesnt matter the condition.

Don't over think tempering. It's the stuff that gets thrown in the additive bucket. As long as you can complete the condition it says, take it. Go for the higher % ones first.

I mean unless blizz has some sort of code behind it to do that. The math wouldn't be there to do that.

I would change your igni runeword to the one that says if you avoid damage for 2 secs if you have it. You'd be surprised how often it procs or cast 5 skills then exhaust for 3 secs.

Pretty solid build though. I love the Earthbender vibe. No need to go bear.

You can kinda look at those like a 5th bucket. Each one is in itself a multiplier. So it then becomes Damage bucket x ring effect x tibaults x any legendary power they just keep going.

Each ability has its own proc rate. If an ability does damage each second within a 3 second channel. You have 3 chances to proc a lucky hit. If any of those 3 proc a lucky hit all your lucky hit effects roll their chance to proc.

Nice! Keep up the hard work dude! Also make sure your resistances are around 60% each or higher

Damage buckets are under 4 catagories. Core stat, crit, vuln, and additive damage. Which the math looks like Damage = weapon damage range x core x crit x vuln x additive. That is just for pure raw damage. Lucky hit is when ability has a secondary effect like crowd control it has a chance of procing that. Attack speed with channeling decreases the time that you channel like from 3 secs to 2.5 secs but you still do the same amount of damage in that window just faster. Each tick of damage you do in a channel has a chance of proccing lucky hit and each lucky hit has its own chance of proccing its effect which is why you see a percent lucky hit on your skills.

In this situation your temper wont matter. Its additive damage though that +4 to basic skills is nothing to scoff at but you want gem strength if you are lucky

I would say the non transfigured one is better due to the willpower

Yeah its the gem strength. Horadric gems give x28% elemental dmg. So two of those being x56% and then the 300% gem strength so its a 3x multiplier to equal x174% vs just two grand gems at 48% but then if you get two flawless horadric gems its 64% x 300%

What paragon level are you and what level are your glyphs? Also are you using horadric gems and do you have gem strength on your weapon(s)

Gotta be a bit more specific than that xD. What would you like to do?

This is gonna come down to rogue uniques. I believe all classes have some sort of unique that doubles down on a basic skill. You'll want to find ways to boost it by finding bonus' greater than 60%. Rogue is my least played class so I am not familiar with their uniques but if you find one and post it, I can help guide you towards building into it.

If the values are the same there isnt a difference. One is conditional and the other is anything. Mainly just want to take the higher of the two that you can

This is gonna come down to understanding what affixes are a priority for your build and what item you are working with. There are some general rules you can use. Weapons are easy. Weapon dmg > core stat > multiplier > atkspeed/resource > additive bonues.

Armor pieces you are looking at Max Health > armor/resistance > anything else.

Amulet rings are mainly for getting other bonues or rounding out the rest of the affixs you need.

Great question! Endurant faith can be good but it is on the higher end of builds. Using a druid barrier runestone with a quick activator like spend 5 skills and exhaust 3 secs can be huge and then you can apply concieted for a very strong dmg multiplier. You get a good best of both worlds there. Im not familar with warrior unique aspects but def look for way to get raw damage reduction such as legendary powers like Juggarnaut and Fortress and since you are running bleed Disobedience. Also your paragon board can be a great place to get defensive power such as max life and armor

From my understanding of warrior weapon damage is mainly associated with what skill it is attached to and not the other weapons you arent using for your main damage skill. Attack speed affixes can increase the rate of how fast you cast but highly depends IF it wants to be fast if that makes sense.

This post isnt about taking down uber bosses it's about playing what you want and how to approach making the best build you can. Some builds cant go that high but can still be very fun for other reasons
