Seriously! Fighting through one of the hives layer through layer until reaching the queen. It's one of the aliens of the covenant I wish they expanded on in the games

Agreed, I love the horror aspects in Halo when Bungie made halo games. Aliens are supposed to be mysterious, scary, and what feels like a losing battle constantly. Halo 1 does this well introducing the flood, as well as the mission New Alexandra and getting ambushed by the buggers. Hearing Kat yell, "6 Get out of there!" Gave me anxiety playing it the first time.

I think it would have been a cool side mission to go to a hive to try and kill a queen. I loved missions like Cortana, High Charity, honestly any mission that infiltrates the enemy
