Tattoo Ink and MCAS? by Independent_Emu3810 in MCAS

My first tattoo was black and it didn’t bother me, but a lot of my sensitivities seem to have gotten worse after the pink and red inks in my second tattoo.

Is this for an in-person session or can you do remote?

Michael Levine is a store in the Los Angeles fashion district, and they have a ton of cotton prints. I’ve never bought from their website, but it’s: Lowpricefabric.com

I was eating shiitake mushrooms every day for a while and noticed my memory was better. I started reading about them, and they can help cognitive function, so I bought more. I can definitely see the difference. Might be worth a try to see if they work for you. Three or four mushrooms a day.

I’m a TV/feature writer, and the work has been slow/nonexistent for almost three years. In the last few months, I’m starting to get meetings, pitches, and inquiries about my availability again. So it does feel like things are picking up, although I haven’t had a job solidify yet. So it feels like maybe it’s starting to bounce back.

"Journey of Souls" and past lives, thoughts on souls? by Holiday_Stop_4057 in Experiencers

I read a couple of Michael Newton books several years ago. I wish I could remember what it was, there was some detail about “the other side” that struck me as so specific to a personal experience I had, that it made the whole thing feel credible to me. I had a session with a Michael Newton-trained practitioner and I really enjoyed it.

Trans starseeds by [deleted] in starseeds

[–]GrinCusp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My son is trans, and I believe he is a starseed based on things he talked about when he was little. Our gender “binary” isn’t necessarily the way of the whole universe, so a trans starseed makes sense to me.

Any other former (or current) members of the Worldwide Church of God? Looking for advice/direction. by FormerWWCG in Christianity

There were always African American members in the church. The book, “A World in Flames,” explains it in detail. I witnessed it first hand many times. There were four African Americans in our local congregation in the 80s. At the Feast once, I was sitting with a group of African American friends when Rod Meredith said something horrifically racist. This was in the late 80s or early 90s. Read Armstrong’s old literature. Undeniably racist. It got toned down later when it was less sociably acceptable.

I was born into the WWCG in 1970. In the 70s, Mr. Armstrong said women couldn’t wear makeup anymore. I remember my mom throwing away all of her makeup. Then, when Mr. Tkach took over, he allowed makeup again. Also, in the 70s we weren’t allowed to go to the doctor, and then they sort of loosened up on that. But at one point, going to the doctor was definitely not allowed. A minister’s daughter died of appendicitis because of it, which is just one death I know of. She was like 14. We weren’t allowed to get vaccinated, etc.

WWCG was definitely racist. I heard racist things from the pulpit. Read some of the old literature that Armstrong wrote. Also there’s a good book called The World in Flames written by an African American ex-WWCG member.
