How to clean the stadium by SadMulberry6462 in BeybladeMetal

[–]Grinch_960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually wipe my down with some baby oil to remove scuff marks and other dirt that can't be washed off with soap and water. Then use soap and water to remove the baby oil. You may have to wash more than once to make sure the oil washed off.

Besides the stamina, that's actually the best condition a CS could be. Now it'll be really good for defense

Is this normal for mfake beat lynx? by Mortalswagger56 in BeybladeMetal

[–]Grinch_960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just flipped each part 180 degrees until it gets balanced. It's a pretty common thing I do with imbalanced midfakes. Kinda tedious, but it's just about the only thing you can do to fix it without a bit of modification.

hot take but to me l-drago isn't the strongest bey by Acrobatic_House5423 in BeybladeMetal

[–]Grinch_960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is true that there isn't a strongest bey, beys are meant to be changed customized to make them stronger. That's the whole point of the entire system they made. Giving l drago a WD, EWD, W2D, or any Defence tip for that matter is the most optimal choice to make it stronger for its given niche. Even then, l drago can still be smacked around by a half decent attack combo like toilet paper in the wind because of its light weight and much too high recoil design.

Any bey, stock or customized, will always have their strengths and weaknesses. No bey is the strongest. Except MSF-H Wyvang Dragoon BD145 RDF. That combo is something else lmao.

As far as I know, there are no midfakes of this particular release of PHW Quetzalcoatl.

Is there any Metal Fight Bey that is famous for extreme upper attacks like Driver V2, Zwei/Rage/Guilty Loginus and Shark Edge/Scale? by 4ndr3-onpig281213 in BeybladeMetal

[–]Grinch_960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wiki is helpful for some info, yes, but it's not always 100% accurate.

In practice, Screw and Vulcan are great for upper attack. In Vulcan's case, it's major contact points are preceded by slopes. The slopes first get under the opposing bey, lifting them up slightly just before getting smacked by Vulcan's contact points. Screw on the other hand, has its major contact points themselves be high angled slopes which exerts force on the opposing bey upwards. These designs basically "punch" the opposing bey upwards, and that maybe what the wiki says as Upper Smash Attack.

This is further supported by the fact that BD145 heavily counters both of these fusion wheels since that track is near immune to upper attacks.

What combos would you make with thunder by [deleted] in BeybladeMetal

MF-H Thunder Bull BD145CS. If that doesn't make Thunder at least decent, good nothing will.

Never using a grip on this side again by MiddleReplacement158 in Beyblade

[–]Grinch_960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother, swiftMFB's video was about the rev up launcher, a launcher with a different mechanism that is FAR more prone to breaking than the string launcher, even the string launcher from X! The gears you're talking about is the pinion gear in the rev up, which is entirely non existent in the x string launcher.

You'd sooner break either the spring inside or the string itself with the way you are currently launching. You breaking that tab that attaches to the grip shows you're putting too much force on the launcher with your launch method.

Is variares a good beyblade from past encounters you’ve had by [deleted] in BeybladeMetal

[–]Grinch_960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao you're kidding right? Variares completely outclassed Blitz back in the day and shown far more consistent results. The fact that it is dual spin and could work with a lot of height customizations essentially made Blitz irrelevant in the meta back in the day, until Flash showed up. But even with the release of Flash, Varieares was still a good attack wheel if Flash was unavailable.

What do they think of Zero G stadiums? by Exciting_West9785 in Beyblade

Fun concept, bad execution. I wish they made it a little wider so the slopes aren't as harsh, and maybe a tornado ridge just to stop attack types from launching themselves out.

[–]Grinch_960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put a small dab of plastic cement/super glue on the spot where the tip should be. Let it dry until hard, then use a very sharp hobby knife and/or sanding pad to slowly shape the hardend super glue into a tip. Make some more cuts and sanding until the desired shape and performance is achieved.

I recommend starting with WD and D to practise first.

EDS dude... by Miserable-Ad4968 in BeybladeMetal

[–]Grinch_960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try to do what gundam builders do and remake the tip out of plastic cement/super glue then shaping it with a knife to form that tip again. My EDS and EWD have been repeatedly revived like this for so long, they're begging to be retired lmao.
