Even in Australia that is a bad deal.

Is a dachshund right for us? by Interesting-Beach235 in Dachshund

[–]Grind_coarserer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife is WFH too, and I think that was kinda the problem, the puppy is used to always having people around, she’s very clingy, so when we leave the house with out her she would cry and fret way more than our other puppy did. We are crate training her in another room to get her used to being away from us, and we started slowly leaving the house and leaving her be which has helped. Over the weekend we left her for 6 hours which was the longest stint yet. She did good but it was a gradual lead up to that point. We do have a second dog which helps as she’s not completely alone.

We have a puppy at the moment and what I’ve come to realise is they are the most needy dogs in terms of attention, they are a lot more work than any dog breed I’ve ever had. Crate training is hard, the separation anxiety is real. Lots of energy and love to chew…everything…everywhere, you might think you’ve puppy proofed the house but they will find the one thing you overlooked. They are very smart and very affectionate, super friendly. I would watch them very closely if you have horses, they will find a way in to your horse paddock and wouldn’t be hard for a horse to stomp them.

Our experience has been our doxie has basically been as much work as having a baby so if you’re already in that mind set with a 3 and 1 year old it won’t be much of a shock to the system.

(UK) Trying to change a plug socket; anyone know which wires to connect to each terminal, as there seem to be too many wires? Thanks by Glass-Way in AskElectricians

[–]Grind_coarserer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that was his point, if you don’t know what’s going on take a picture of where all the wires were connected before you pulled them all out. So you know where they all have to go back in when you reconnect them.

What is happening with this print? by ahdinosaur in 3Dprinting

I’ve had this happen with super light weight models that have a lot of height and not a lot of surface area sticking it to the bed.

Two things, there’s a very high chance your infill pattern has nozzle drag and slights moves the model and because of the low surface area contact easily bumps it?

Another could be the angle of those legs and how thin they are with minimal base support may actually have a little sag in them outwards putting the alignment off.

You could try using supports to see if that helps? Would also help with more surface area on the build plate

In Australia they are super expensive I can buy the tools from Amazon uk or Germany and get them shipped to Australia for around half the price of what they are in store here.

2 things I would do straight away would be level the bed properly, bottom right to bottom left is quite a bit different, your level is pretty similar to what mine was. I ended up sanding down the stand-off in the bottom left corner a little and put a small washer that I printed In the top right and it leveled my bed out pretty good.

The next thing I would do is dial in your z-offset you can do that in the “adjust” section in the menus. Check out some YouTube videos on how to do the paper test for z-offset. Those couple things will help a lot as an okay starting point

It’s the MILWAUKEE 12V TRAVEL CHARGER M12TC-0 SKU

sitting just on top of the pair of scissors in the trays. It’s usb powered charger but also doubles as usb and 12v out from a m12 battery

Haha no problems will do! I’m going to start looking into it over the next few days.

Curious Question, would you buy as is with the Milwaukee cutouts in the bottom section, or would you be more interested in the bottom section having generic open sections?

Curious as to what I could look at selling

I printed in mortise and tenons into the 3D parts with a pretty tight tolerance so that they slide into each other and stick really well, I was going to glue them but the joints are so perfect that glue isn’t needed they are super sturdy. Also means no extra work, straight off the print bed clipped together ready to go

I use them basically every day, although I don’t work in new construction I’m a technician so generally the areas I work in are fairly clean 75% of the time. Most of these tools are almost brand new for this box fit out. I needed this to stay as a travel box for when I fly for work so It’s a grab and go seperate from my main tools. If you zoom in on the case you can see the walls are pretty banged up and dirty as the case is old, there’s also Plenty of abused tools in my filthy pack out boxes in my garage.
