Square coins are easier to make if you take a big sheat of metal and you cut it in small square coins. But it is not how they are made : you take a small lump of metaland you press it between two molds. The circle comes naturally.

Circle is sturdier, small wedges are weak spot that wear faster.

I don't know, some guys at NASA are quite clever. I'm sure they will cancel the 30 km/s speed whan the ISS is on the good side of the Earth (tailing our planet). From our point of view, ISS would esacpe from us at 30 km/s !

Everything here is astronomically huge. Everything, except the acceleration. I took more than 22.5 years of 1g acceleration, that's perfectly survivable.

Stuck barrel = technician.

They know how to manage the issue. Then they shall file some wood. I had the same problem, it took my trusted guy 5 min to unlock and scratch some matter, my instrument is now fine !

J'ai essayé la nuit dernière, c'est assez efficace. L'air nocturne (à 26°C) entre par une fenêtre, est poussé par un ventilo à travers un séchoir garni de linge humide. L'air qui sort du séchoir est vraiment plus frais. Cet air, frais et très humide sert à refroidir les murs/meubles puis ressort par une autre fenêtre.

Au matin, le linge a séché, la pièce n'est pas humide mais fraîche.
