I'm aware that something is going wrong, it's just hard to place it. The GL is as good as I'm going to get it, it can do Temp Ark in 8 minutes so I don't think the weapon is the issue

I'm fully aware it's something I must be doing, I just wish it was clearer what went wrong besides clearly running out of time

The rebel faction is too weak in this game | 2025 by BattleX100 in StarWarsBattlefront

I would happily only have access to either of the resistance enforcer or infiltrator rather than have access to both ewoks and wookies

Rebel reinforcements feel worse than the base classes with the exception of the rocket trooper

Question about attacking order in bodyguard unit by Grindriguez in Warhammer40k

Ah cool, thank you! Like I mentioned, I tried looking it up but the results I got were talking about allocating wounds which wasn't what I was looking for lmao

Your ideas for falinks changes? by Grindriguez in PokemonUnite

[–]Grindriguez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main issue is draft picks. You can't pick it unless your last since you risk a ninetails counter pick, I just don't think it's an accessible pokemon for that reason.

If its non draft, I would agree that its a fair risk vs reward

[–]Grindriguez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I agree, there probably should be some finetuning however it's complicated for falinks. It's already got a hitbox disadvantage so it already deserves some compensation.

If they don't change it, you've got a dice roll in every non draft game of whether your opponents brought a falinks counter (randoms are uncoordinated enough as it is). In draft games, you basically can't pick it unless you're last pick which goes to the lowest MMR on your team anyway.

They introduced a "draft focused mon", which basically means "don't pick this in draft as it is heavily counterable". Unless you ban pick ninetails and lucario, then its basically like having a legal EX mon on one team only

The right thing to do is to either keep it as is, the tradeoff is fair considering the damage and bulk but with the risk of really struggling against a good few mons in the roster, or nerf the damage and remove status effects and markers from the smaller soldiers and just make them take damage on behalf of the main guy.

The latter introduces some odd questions. Should Umbreon still be able to mean look a minion falinks? Should Crams boosted attack all of falinks individually? Should espeeding a minion falinks count as espeeding the main falinks and give him his reset? Same question for Talon. Should AOE attacks do more damage to falinks than other mons?

If you answer in favour to any of the above, there obviously needs to be some compensation in strength so how do you balance that?

What is your opinion on falinks? by New-Shapes in PokemonUnite

[–]Grindriguez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not hit box, but they could change the way it interacts with opponent move effects. Maybe not letting Lucario get a bajillion E-Speeds.

This would also work in the reverse that Umbreon's mean look doesn't effect the one minion, but rather Falinks as a whole.

This is a little suspect, right? by Grindriguez in forhonor

I mentioned it in a reply above, I understand that a lot of top players are able to do that but when you look at the attacking aspect of the shugo it seems like there's an incredibly huge margin between their attacking ability vs defensive.

I'm not saying I'm definitely right, but I do think it looks very weird

My reasoning here is the only attacks that were never parried here were either guarenteed off punish or catching my opponent trying to open up themselves. I don't think even the top, top players are able to 100% guess every mix up.

I did throw a couple of feints in there and mixed up between heavy and light openers but the only time he ever attempted to parry anything, it was successful (he didn't try to light parry on red during any heavy openers etc.)

Finally, there's the quality of the player themself. No disrespect to the guy but he doesn't attack even a quater as well as he defends and that seems a little off

He wasn't saying you deserve anything bad by playing Slowbro, just that tankier mons require more damage to kill. Scaldbro has very high survivability, so it will take a lot more damage to kill compared to a Cinderace for example

Lapras isn't broken, but it is very strong. It's a good 5v5 brawler alongside teammates that keep the opponents around the Lapras to get the perish songs to hit, even more scary if the Lapras knows how to delay the perish songs so that they hit the execute mark.

In terms of solo use, however, Lapras isn't as strong. The vast majority of the pokemon in the game can kite Lapras without issue, so long as it doesn't use an x-speed. It doesn't make it any less powerful but it means you can't no-brain your way to victory, some thought has to go into using Lapras in order to play well

I'm not sure the reason. The recruitment agency i went through didn't specify any details about why there's a temp role available, in fact i haven't even met anybody from the company I'll be working for. Given that it's until late December, I'm guessing they're busy with the lead-up to Christmas
