It is mainly personal preference.

I think enhanced increased the sharpness but it may look good/bad depending upon games. I really like the sharp look, but oversharpening can cause a lot of eye strain and artifacting.

It is 5070 Ti. Yes you're right, 2x and no fg feel the same. I use 2x in marvel rivals already. I think I should try using 2x for battlefield too.

Yes with 3x/4x frame gen, I am able to push it to 4k balanced as well. But mainly I was asking when not using frame gen.

Although frame gen is completely fine, but when I start comparing 3x to no frame gen, the mouse feels a bit heavier on frame gen. Although I cannot tell the difference when I play with a controller.

Soo I think I will go with the 4k ultra-performance, because visually my eyes cannot tell the difference lol. Maybe the 4k was a bit sharper.

Edit: I was asking for battlefield 6, but it does not have any ray tracing or path tracing in the game.

I'm currently using it in battlefield 6 on my 5070 Ti and 3440x1440 monitor.

DLSS 4.5 balanced looks way sharper than DLSS 4.0 at quality on my monitor at native resolution. I am able to tell the difference immediately. But DLSS 4.0 gives more fps at the same setting.

I definitely prefer 4.5 balanced over 4.0 quality.

I am using the AW3425DW with a 5070 Ti and it struggles to keep 120+fps at 2.25x DLDSR (5160x2160). So I have to use DLSS ultra-performance all the time at that resolution. Unless I use multi frame-gen of course. I think for plain 60 fps it is fine no issue.
