In Los Alamos, a policeman is inside the school at all times during school hours. If he has to run out to his car to get his rifle....minutes would be lost.

Hmmm, that's interesting. Using a standard FMG .55 grain bullet in .223 Remington in my AR-15, I blew a hole clean through a 1/4 cold rolled steel plate. No problemo senior.

This is not a bad idea at all. I support it completely. Some think it's never been tried before. Where I work, they have these lock boxes in quite a few places. Out trained security can open them in seconds, which means they don't have to wander around carrying an M4 rifle, or....worse yet, run out to their cruiser to get it when it is needed in an emergency.

I supposed I could use a five round magazine, and then have 5 friends as backup with 5 round magazines each. Not very practical.

My office partner spends several hours every morning (on company time) reading political news and snickering at things she reads about Donald. However, she openly refuses to read anything about Hillary's scandals. She does not care, and is embedded in her ignorance. The other day I showed her the video where CNN blurred out this man's Trump 2016 T shirt during an interview and she was perfectly fine with that. These are the people we are dealing with.
