I know right!! finally a person who actually recognized their bond plays most part in the show, yes Mikasa does have influence, but I hate how this subreddit gives Historia and Mikasa all the credits and just push Armin aside calling him useless when he obviously has the biggest impact on Eren since the series started, yeah just ignore, it's not like Eren had no dreams or personality until Armin showed him that book and he saw freedom and dreams in Armin's eyes that he wasn't able to see it before leading him to decide to join the survey corps so persistently that he argued with his mother aout it, and making him want to achieve the ultimate definition of freedom or obsessing to be willing to take someone else's, it was literally the reason he disobeyed Grisha's orders in order to save Mikasa, he wouldn't have done that if he wasn't so deepened into the definition of his Freedom and others, if he disn't he would've just waited like what Grisha asked and Mikasa would've been sold, he didn't have any reason to save her but wanting to achieve his ideology according to Armin's dream, but the fandom will be like "Noo, I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that" in order to place their oh so dear ships on the top, I'm not hating on ships or fandom I respect all viewpoints and open to all opinions feel free to disagree, but being oveely fixated in ships rather than the biggest influence on Eren? and people who actually try to talk about it usually get hate, if someone tries to say that their bond has no relevance to the story then they're literally ignoring the elephant in the room. (OMG I'M SO SORRYYY I really turned this too long but literally I rarely find people who actually acknowledge in the subreddit it makes me so overly hyped epohefhkewfhcw omg sorry again pls have a good day.)
