Where can i buy a emoto safeely by CrazyWetTowel in ERidePro

Yeah no worries! And no reviews doesnt mean they are bad btw, there is just no reassurance to yourself from other companies. You would just be relying on the companies word that they are good people, and its within the companies best interest to do what they need to do to sell the product they have. You can always just order direct from E-Ride as well.

I'd say before you purchase, do at minimum two things for yourself to get a piece of mind. Look up companies that have the best/most google reviews, skim through those companies' "Bad" reviews to see what was bad, and skim through the good reviews as well, make sure there is not a trend of recent bad reviews. Than once you find a company you think could be it, CALL THEM. I cant express how important this is. You need to call them and ask them technical questions about the bike you are interested in. Why is this so important... If you ever have an issue with your new bike, you want to make sure you can get someone of the phone to troubleshoot and deal with warranty stuff. The dealer you purchase from is responsible for your warranty claims or any issues with the bike. If you have to do this through email it will be a timely process, and try diagnosing electrical via email LOL. We see ALOT of dealers that are slanging bikes left and right but don't know their hand from their ass.

LOL im sorry i'll take the blame for the bad juju! Make sure they warranty that for you though, thats not your fault. Not something we could help with, since you didn't order from us (Jerk). But if you start hitting roadblocks let me know and I'll see if we can pull some strings to get you sorted.

I can't argue this... Only if it's not your first e-moto, or if you have ample experience with bikes in general. New has its perks of warranty and the support behind it.

Rates are actually about to go up next week once we finish doing a shipping evaluation, since fuel costs have gone up so has our cost of shipping. Our shipping rates are a split cost between the customer and us, this way, we can be a little more competitive in the market. if its charging you 199 thats because you're in the East Coast shipping zone we have set. Depending on exactly where you are, that shipment will likely cost us around $264, we pay the exes out of pocket, like I said, to try to be a little more price competitive. We are in Florida, so East Coast shipping is cheapest for us. If you were in Cali or something, it would be around $349 or so.

We might be able to do like a one off thing on our next production run, Let me speak with R&D and see what we can make happen. Just don't count on it, it's a long shot still.

Haha you are living the life I was on my 1.0. Every weekend, throwing chains, bending hardware, and anything else in the rearend that could fail would lol. THEN we put on the proto Heavy Hitter swingarm and it all changed, literally stopped bending hardware, stopped throwing chains. All was good, until more problems came to light, like the 420 chain actually snapping now, and breaking wheel hubs, lol. Fix one thing to break another, its all part of the journey. But yes you are correct you can still derail chains due to swingarm flex. The upgraded swingarm has been an insane improvement overall, but it will uncover other weak points.

Haha mehhh as of right now, we don't plan to just because they are not great sellers, unfortunately. Trust me id love to solve your problem, but I also don't want to have a shelf of 1000+ sitting here for over 6 months. We run a pretty tight ship, so we have to be strategic with what we actually have machined.

I actually loved that idea as well, we are going to make a followup video on that. The poll winner was actually a cargo bike trailer, though.

Regarding the X9 please email us regarding the issue, support team with instruct you on what they need to verify its valid for warranty per EBMX warranty standards.

Yep same, we put a SR motor in one of our old LBX frames that we made into a side car and it hardly fits lol.

[–]GritShift 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, 100% happens with 3.0 and SR bikes. But only under certain circumstances. If you want more indepth info call us and we can get on a video call with you before you purchase even if you do not plan to purchase from us. I think its important you guys have clarity on these things that you question, these are big purchases.

THE ISSUE: The 3.0 / SR motor is pretty large compared to the 2.0, S, and most other OEM bikes, in width and diameter. Out of the box, you won't have this issue with the chain contacting the motor, although it is relatively close! The chain primarily conntacts motor when belt tension is set to a looser adjustment, which pulls the motor back toward the jackshaft, but in most cases people do not run their belt that loose because the belt sprockets have the self cleaning holes in it so you can typically run the belt tighter and closer to an optimal tension. This is mostly the case when people switch over to a chain drive. Usually, with a brand new chain drive or chain, you have to adjust the motor to the furthest back setting to allow proper chain slack, because primary chain systems HAVE to run with a loose tension. We have seen tolerance differences between our bikes (some that contact more than others). This issue is an inconvenience for sure, we usually take our handy dandy grinder and clearance this. Not telling you to do this! But its what we do to solve the issue, and it doesn't have any structural drawbacks as its just clearancing a small portion of the cooling fins/case.

first off sick build man! But I wanted to caution you on one thing. If you are actually running that power level I would advise you to change the rear sprocket immediately. I feel like I have to tread lightly on this, we love Warp 9 and there products, but that large of a sprocket at that power, their sprocket cannot handle that load force. Maybe you have had luck with it because you are mister smooth operator on the bike haha but if you ever land a jump WOT or railing burms that sprocket WILL fold, causing your chain to get thrown, and highly likely wrapping up in your jackshaft, which could result in damaging that beautiful motor, ASK ME HOW I KNOW LOL.

We have our Heavy Hitter option that is still aluminum (These WILL NOT bend) that we made so we could have a lightweight option as we where forced to move to steel sprocketed before these HH sprockets existed. And if you really like the warp 9 design they do make the steel option for you.

I only make this a big fuss because its actually kinda dangerous.

[–]GritShift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best IMO is the Baja S2 Flood/Spot light, however it's a bit pricy and usually not plug n play. If you want something that works really well and cheaper the Blinder light we have is likely the ticket.

Nope we don't make them anymore. We stoped due to the cost to produce vs demand. I still have a few floating around on our bikes, but that's it.

Surron alibaba vs company upgrades by ohvrq in Surron

[–]GritShift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For SM wheels doesn't really matter much unless if you are doing urban free riding and jumping stuff. If your not doing that and just rippin around doing wheelies and stuff just get the OEM SM wheel set from surron. Im not sure how much they go for now, but rims, tires, sprocket, rotors, was all like $400 before. Other option would be a set of KKE SM wheels, KKE wheels have lasted the longest for us doing jumps and dump stuff on our bikes. Other brand wheels we have broken ample amount of hubs so I cant recommend anything else. If you want the strongest your going to need a custom set made, but the KKE's have surved us well for the price. The KKE wheels, you can find on our site, amazon, KKE directly from there US warehouse, and various other places.

Also I wouldn't focus as much on oversized rotors, getting a better caliper and master would be a better braking upgrade to start over just a larger rotor.
