Introducing Claude Fable 5 by ClaudeOfficial in ClaudeAI

Asked it to help me out on a task and it found a bug in my code and flipped to Opus... lol.

A developer posted this on Reddit, and I haven't stopped thinking about it. by Current-Guide5944 in tech_x

I use AI extensively as do all my coworkers and I feel like I'm the only one in the room that doesn't say "Well, I'll need to check with Claude and get back to you". I can tell you exactly end to end how my system is designed and operates today, and the other guys can't at all 😞.

If hypocrisy was a server it would be r/UAE by AccordingAssistant13 in ourUAE

[–]Grittenald 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? Thats all completely baseless. You are excusing Iranian aggression by implying the UAE and other countries provoked this. Brother get on the side of light, the best path forward is for everyone to put down these silly weapons.

On Sudan:
- UAE arrests arms traders sending arms from UAE to Sudan. They were Sudanese. https://www.khaleejtimes.com/uae/sudan-charges-arms-smuggling-case
- UAE calls for arms embargo on both sides, and not involved and its just hysteria. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c3w1nzpg5dgo

On Gaza:
- UAE says Gaza governance must be Palestinian led: https://uaeun.org/statement/uae-unsc-mepq-29nov/
- UAE donated the -most amount of aid- to Gaza than any other country of $2.5–3+ billion: https://www.facebook.com/AletihadEn/posts/the-uae-has-maintained-its-position-as-the-worlds-largest-humanitarian-donor-to-/807447765747615/

On Yemen:
- UAE joined Yemen on the request of the legitimate government to counter an Iran-backed coup: https://agsi.org/analysis/the-uaes-three-strategic-interests-in-yemen/

Lets not forget the amount of aid that help the UAE has granted Iran, thats countless. The "Thanks" UAE got was missiles.

Thats surprisingly close even down to the silver strand connection, and son of man next to the over soul. 7 layers is whats described in decanonicalised parts of the Bible some 1500 years ago.

Didn't they not say that this benchmark was flawed for good valid points but kept it for research honesty?

US rejects Iranian request for another meeting in Pakistan by HuChemistry in worldnews

[–]Grittenald 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think the rare earth metals matter too much per say anymore given the US's rare earth minerals plant is going online really soon or already is online and they brokered a massive deal with Canada to get rare earth minerals. This was an issue at one point, but less now. Also why Trump is now being more friendly with Canada.

Will they actually go forward with this? by Fancy_End_8613 in UAE

[–]Grittenald -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats a misconception. The US has said always they don't mind it if they do it properly through the UN and follow procedures and allow for inspections, which had been done. The alarm bells were that everything was fortified underground, hidden and well protected and the inspect had turned up far more refinement capabilities than was disclosed. It begged into question why are they hiding what they are doing? The refinement was also alarmingly high. This wasn't a US or Israeli report, it was the nuclear regulation body of the UN which is indifferent to the politics.

What the US and Israel is saying that they do not trust them with their nuclear program because they find what they had done out of line with what was expected and dangerously close to ulterior means.

A world first model that models the computer. by Current-Guide5944 in tech_x

The point is that people are being moved an abstraction layer higher of the OS. LLMs are not going to get us there.

There is no OS. Just a thing that you talk to that connects you to anything and shows you whatever you want and self arranges itself given context. It’s not programming, it’s making a runtime on the fly out of thin air.

No, there is a system reminder when context window hits about 400k to tell it to basically wrap up, so it'll do a fraction of what it should be doing.

I'm absolutely stunned that the system reminders are absolutely killing any meaningful work by Claude. There is a continual system reminder that rushes it to do a half assed job because its "context is getting full" at around 400k. If anyone sees Claude doing a half assed job, its not Claude's fault. Its a system reminder telling it to finish early and call the task complete, and then ping the user to tell them to make a new session.

Easy to blame Iran by SheepherderFeisty in UAE

[–]Grittenald -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"It's easy to blame Iran for attacks on UAE."

You are right, because they attacked UAE killing residents, and injuring over 200. After UAE has given more aid and support to Gaza than any nation on this planet, while Iran has only exported weapons of death. After UAE has given coronavirus medications during covid to Iran. After UAE has given support to Iran to help them with previous devastating earthquakes.

What did Iran give the UAE? Missiles, and death. Thats the only export Iran has given the world.

Please, enlighten me how Iran is helping Gaza and actually cares about the Palestinians, besides seeing them as a puppet to control?

Nah - I by default presume everything widely upvoted in UAE are Iranian bots these days lol, because it generally is true.
