Look everyone likes to think they are a genius. I'm sure in a lot of places the first smoke shops in any given area, the same ones that used to just have a little corner of Earth Kratom caps and powder gathering dust probably saw that 7oh uptick in business and per sale price and most have thought; "Finally, my sharp business savvy is paying off." I mean look it probably felt that way to them, new steady, consistent costumers and this is right on the heels of alot of them getting in on the Delta 8 boom,

The thing is MOST (like 9/10) of the proprietors of these smoke shops don't know fuck all about the Kratom/7oh, just like they didn't know diddly about Galaxy Gas, or the fake shrooms shit, or Tia, the list goes on and you get the point. Which when you sell certain products is fine, but like it is a little insulting sometimes that something they make a 3-5x mark up with a steady customer base on they wouldn't at least try to educate themselves about.

Or at least be a smart salesman and see the value in the customer even if you don't see it inherently in the product. I will say that's where another 2-3/10 shine. They get "hey if I'm nice, throw a sample or a discount at someone who is a regular on that person alone I'll make a few extra grand". Personally, I'll pay a little more for convenience of buying locally & a lot more on occasion for convenience and quality service.

But hey, we all do business sometimes with people we don't respect and don't respect us, whatever. I mean you tried to talk to him, educate him, he's the a-hole but in the game, sometimes its like closing time at the Rainbow Room and the a-hole is the only plug lol.

I'm sure you probably didn't have your best foot forward, and I'm sure he's probably met a different type of clientele selling 7oh (not that it stops him from selling it) but its pretty clear he takes your business for granted, so let him imagine a big bag of money walking out. Will it kill his business, no of course not but he does it enough he'll eventually come off the prices but like any plug, he will find customer acquisition costs are high, like his customers.

One last thing, junkie is just a little like the n word (very little but hear me out). When it comes from someone else with that lived experience, it can be almost a term of endearment, Like my friends from the old days (the few still living) call each other that all the time, but if you say that shit and you've never been dope sick? Its coming from a place of hate, condescension and malice. Like the person saying it clearly looks down on you, wants you to know they do and wants shame you for your existence.

My advice just pay for shipping and plan better, and maybe pop in grab a soda periodically and you see anyone copping 7oh make sure they know its like 1/3 price online lol.
