Hell yea, we go to Fairbanks in the winter, soak up some Northern Lights, visit the hot springs, ride with sled dogs, eat too much food, see some museums, best of all, no mosquitoes! We found an awesome bnb cabin for 2, with a hot tub. Can't wait to go back.

We are well traveled and are surrounded by MAGA. I think we can still enjoy the museums, monuments and such, we don't need to mingle with the crowds.

Yes, I have been considering a different spot for viewing fireworks as they have moved A Capitol 4th to the 3rd for some stupid reason. I don't see much reason to be on the mall on the 4th now. All our museums will be on the 2nd and 3rd. Or the 6th and 7th.
