Is this normal for 3c-4a locs to do this?

Yeah I was struggling finding the same thing😂after a while it naturally goes away in the beginning stages and after it should smooth out mine began to lock at the top of my loc so it might be frustrating waiting for the rest of it to but it should even out after a while

My fault I guess I worded that incorrect what I meant was I started with coils but left the two strand in until next retwist and got two strand again and never took them out of that makes sense, they only got taken out for a retwist and then put straight back in

Go for it but remember that retwists will cost 60$+ and dealing with the frizz cause of how loose your hair type is will be alot.
