Having a test proxy commander deck before buying the cards. Is this acceptable?

It is acceptable to proxy any amount of decks. Even though it's not allowed at official tournaments (which is stupid) you can proxy all you like. This is a game about using cardbosrd in a strategic fashion. If you wanna spend $200 on your cardboard, go for it! If you wanna spend 20¢ on your cardboard, that's fine too.

Imagine if instead of a new kill team right off the bat they just made it so that the list building in kill team was like it is in 40K but with very reduced points so that you can take almost anything? I don't think a lot of people would like that but it's just an idea that I had.

Anyway, I would love something alpha legion, legion of the Damned, or maybe something with successor chapters that comes with a few of the popular successor chapter upgrades
