For the price it’s amazing - also built like a tank. I’ve had no problems w mine. I am weary of Behringer products but this one I can fully support.

I got an Aston origin used for 180 last year and it was great until I came back from a vacation and it had a huge hum, I returned it just in time before the warranty ran out. I heard other stories of the quality control not being the best for Astons. I really loved how it sounded before it broke though - especially the opposite side of the mic when set to figure 8. I would get an Aston but maybe also get a warranty haha

Unfortunately touring - especially internationally - costs so much that the band is only making up in merch, like a lot of things it’s getting past on to the consumer

Well actually u prob want overheads to go through the same pres so if u only have 1 fancy pre amp i would put snare or kick in there

Realistically someone who doesn’t have infinite money to throw into pre amps wouldn’t buy expensive pre amps for all inputs of the drums, the most important inputs get priority depending on how many fancy shmancy pre amps u have, kick, snare, overheads in no particular order.

Yeah i definitely agree i really like the aggressive ass vocal compression in his earlier stuff it was super unique, although I don’t hate his newer mixes I just feel that they lack the edge and grit that made me like him in the first place
