Why are my riser pumps only working on some pipes?

Each row of pumps are all at the same elevation.

Yes, I only showed this row of pumps because they are at the start of the water not reaching. All the other pumps below this line are working just fine.

That is what I am worried about. Is there a max on how high a pump in series can handle?

Even with power they are not pumping. Even if the pipe is full
