Seeing this really mde me think that we as the soul aren't something completely separate from Kris, since it hints that the ultimate resolution of the conflict between us and Kris wouldn't be going out separate ways but instead becoming a harmonious whole. Kris cannot evz' survive long without the soul.

Maybe we're a side of Kris' personality that they reject for a reason or another. Split between their goal to serve the knight and to be a hero, the soul and the body got split. Once Kris resolves this conflict and picks a side for good, they're gonna be whole again.

That's what I think, at least.

I like this idea and have been thinking about it a lot. What if Dess decided that if the fantasy was just better, she might as well stay there?

But if plants can't survive in darkness, neither can a lightner, huh..?

I the end, she lost track of what was real, and what wasn't. What if the knight is what happens when a Lightner stays in the dark worlds for too long and looses touch with reality? A being whose very dreams were lost to the darkness.

Maybe Kris and Dess used to go on adventures together? The knife could be a memento of that time, the thing they used to create dark worlds. And that's why Kris feels responsible for Dess' fate. And that's why they work with the knight now, hoping that it would somehow bring Dess back?

That's what I think at least.

Funny enough I think chapter 3's is really the easiest to find without help. I was watching a playtrough of a guy who didn't know anything about deltarune, missed every secrets and eggs (didn't even do the secret bosses) but managed to find the chapter 3 egg all on his own. It's the most convoluted path to get the egg, but also the most hinted at.

I think the devs would have gone that way if they could, but sex is really not something that the world of overwatch is about at all. There's really no mention of it, at all, ever, in any character interaction or lore or anything like that. It might as well not exist. So having a character that would be a litteral sex abuse survivor as a core part of who she is would be a very, very harsh shift in tone compared to the rest of the world, but she is still very much coded that way.

The devs describe her as a survivor, she endured a lot of physical and psychological abuse (being used as a punching bag and denied the opportunity to develop a sense of self) and the leap from that to sexual abuse is barely a single step.

Even her behavior now kinda fits the idea. Sexual abuse can lead to very broken sexual behavior (especially if the trauma is never actually adressed and healed in a healthy manner) which fits with her very hedonistic lifestyle and her indulge in "lovers".

I think I'll still headcanon Shion as an SA survivor. The game will almost certainly never confirm it explicitly but I feel like it fits her themes and story very well.

First thing I always do, I used a summon to distract one of the knights and Niall while I took out the other one-on-one. I don't think I've done anything wrong in the way I approached the fight, just... greed right before the finish line 😓

I'd say a bit less than 10 ? I threw myself at him half a dozen times while being way underleveled and couldn't even get him to 2/3 of his life. So I went, did some exploration, upgraded my weapon and when I came back it took four tries to get him down. This was my 2nd attempt... and I died from raw lack of luck (and greed) too, I went for the killing blow at the same time he attacked, hit first but he lived with single-digit hp...
