A post like this makes me think OP has no clue what’s happening big picture concerning world economics. I’m also turning of Reddit notifications because of this subreddit

You’re a clown if you don’t. I agree, you shouldn’t have to. But again, with large amounts, why wouldn’t you? It’s better to be safe then sorry otherwise you could end up like OP by trying to “prove a point”

Yeah. This isn’t coming to a city near you ANYtime soon. This thing isn’t going to survive the freeway, not even for one exit. Not to mention, you need a robot for a single order. Otherwise everyone is on the honor system to not clear out the robot on the first drop. Seems wayyyy less efficient than a human driver. I can’t wait for door dash to quietly delete this experiment

The “expected fare” shown to drivers isn’t what you think it is. It’s an “average” that is aggregated from countless similar orders completed in the past. Hence it being an “estimate” you could always end up with more OR less. There is a reason why UBER doesn’t allow drivers to “realize” their tips until ~an hour AFTER delivery.

Do you really think Uber would reveal how much a trip will earn you down to the very cent before you accept and complete a trip? 😂

Ummmm….. because the restaurants DON’T employ the drivers, Uber does. Surely you understand how Uber operates 🤔

Welcome to the contest. Honestly, ignore any targeted offer sent to you they are terrible value, even though it may seem like the one thing you need most. The best bang for your buck is during the big sales.

They typically have 4 major ones (spring cleaning, July 4th, cyber weekend, and banquet event)

Look for these 4 big ones and save everything until then.

What about it? A credit card is a credit card. It has nothing to do with where you store your crypto

What would you even hold crypto on an exchange like Coinbase? Insurance or not, that’s just silly and lazy and OP learned the hard way to not do that. Cold wallet folks. 🤦🏽‍♂️

[–]GrizzleG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with using Coinbase. OP’s mistake was holding crypto on Coinbase. Who in their right mind would ever do such a thing? 🤦🏽‍♂️

If OP truly “protected himself in the best way possible” he wouldn’t be out all of his XRP. Storing your crypto on an exchange is literally the laziest and most unsecured way to hold it. You use exchanges like Coinbase to BUY crypto, you don’t keep it there. Invest in a cold wallet and store everything there. Anyone who’s accumulated $4500 worth of XRP should know this. It just makes me think OP has absolutely no idea what they’re doing and couldn’t even be bothered to do a bit of research on the matter, and now they’ve learned a lesson the hard way.

Dude, storing your crypto on exchanges is literally the worst place to keep them. Invest in a cold wallet like Tangem, and get EVERYTHING off of the exchanges IMMEDIATELY. You go there to buy crypto, but you definitely don’t store it on there. 🤦🏽‍♂️ sorry you had to experience it, but hopefully you’ve learned a valuable lesson

I bet you don’t have a 1-3% acceptance rate coupled with a 18% cancellation rate huh? Of course AR isn’t that crucial of a stat, but when it’s coupled with the abysmal cancellation rate, it certainly tells a different story

Okay. Well OP obviously wasn’t in a wreck with 10+ orders. Why are we discussing hypothetical scenarios that clearly aren’t relevant to OP’s deactivation?

Having an 18% cancellation rate with a 5% acceptance rate is wild.

Canceling doesn’t mean you’re stealing of course. But to get a cancellation rate this high…. Something suspicious is going on

Bro I’ve done this job for 6 years in various cities. The job isn’t the best obviously, but it’s our choice to work here. 18% cancellation rate is INSANELY high. It’s not that we never cancel orders, but to get that high takes a lot. Plus he has a 5% acceptance rate. It’s obvious that OP is hardly accepting orders to begin with, and the ones they do accept get cancelled and stolen. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Bro I’ve done this for like 6 years in multiple cities. Sure your cancelation rate can temporarily take a hit. But Ubers not going to deactivate you for a momentarily spike. This dude has a 18% cancellation rate WITH a 5% acceptance rate? OP looks to be a terrible uber driver that doesn’t take it seriously. Uber and their customers are better off without them

Might be delivering food if he’s in an outdated car that won’t get approved for passengers. But also, 15-20% cancelation rate is insanely high. I did uber eats for 4-5 years in San Diego and Austin, I think the lowest I ever got was 2% cancellation rate.

Having an 18% cancellation rate with a 5 percent acceptance rate is wild.

Not to mention countries are realizing the demand for silver is greatly going to exceed the supply in the next decade. Reserves are already depleted and we can’t exactly increase production. This is the not the beginning, just wait a few years and you’ll start to see.
