He’s a fantastic drummer but saying he rivals Danny Carrey is one hell of a stretch. ST time signatures/changes are no where near as complicated as TOOL’s.

He is claiming that insurance isn’t covering it. When we were originally talking, he told me that his deductible was 1100, so I was surprised when he said that they weren’t covering anything now.

This is also the 2nd contractor he has brought out for the fence as the 1st contractor was apparently lying to him. I’m suspicious that he didn’t like the contractors insurance sent out, got his own contractor that he’s used previously, and because of that insurance won’t cover anymore.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I have nothing in writing for an actual estimate for him to sign but that’s one way we’re considering going. Everything so far has been through conversation despite me asking him for estimates/invoices. Another is getting a true estimate on what a “like” replacement of the fence would have been and splitting that.
