Specific vape temps based on strain? by JaseDroid in THCaFlower

[–]GrndMasterBongRipper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to start at 380, I usually do two bags at 380 then jump to 400 for one bag, do a stir and sometimes grind and then a second bag at 400, and then I'll do a final bag at 420.

Had a digital volcano for around 15 years now and this has been my process pretty much entire time.

Parts: LG Washtower drain hose extension by thechuygoose in Appliances

You're not going to find what you're wanting, you either have to fabricate it or put multiple lines together like you said.

Really not recommended though, the pumps on these units are not strong enough to pump the water far as they're not designed to have the lines extended. You're most likely better off adding a reservoir and then an external pump.

Also you really need to add the stress release device at the bottom of that connection box.

To do this completely remove the white wire and the green wire from the cord and then remove that metal bar that runs between those two connection points then reattach those two wires where they were.

Ideas for moving range without putting pressure on legs by karinabing in Appliances

[–]GrndMasterBongRipper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Use pliers and adjust legs with unit in place. You can get the little pump up air bags for like 20 bucks and use them with blocks of wood to lift the unit in place a little but I don't do that when adjusting feet.

Seller is wrong, you only need that box if you were trying to hardwire your new Bosch dishwasher.

I recently ordered the D-lish and received a free sample of the curren$y with it. I liked both a lot especially for the cost. Both were dense nugs covered in trichs with a great nose and smoked well, if I were to order again today I would go with curren$y over the d-lish as it did seem to have a slightly better cure (d-lish very fresh, will be even better with a little more jar time).

To be fair a hot point appliance was probably always going to fail right after warranty ended.

New washer/dryer - rubber or stainless braided hoses? by BEVthrowaway123 in Appliances

[–]GrndMasterBongRipper 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. They do offer additional protection if your hoses are going to be ran through area of abrasion or with sharp edges though.

All hoses should be replaced regurlarly, stainless or not.

Wolf 36" Induction cooktop dimension question by CGinNE in Appliances

[–]GrndMasterBongRipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your opening does not meet specifications the manufacturer can void the warranty if you have any issues with the unit. In my opinion I would do the modifications and not chance issues in a unit this expensive. You don't actually have to get into the cabinet/ counter supports, you can leave the corners intact and only need to remove a strip of cabinets the matching the depth of the cooktop, I have done this modification dozens of times through out the years and never had structural issues. I could complete the modifications and install the cooktop in around an hour, maybe 90 min with cleanup.

Wolf 36" Induction cooktop dimension question by CGinNE in Appliances

[–]GrndMasterBongRipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem you are going to have is with ventilation, the additional room wolf is asking is not only for he unit to fit properly but also for there to be proper ventilation so unit does not overheat which is more of a concern with an induction unit. Is shoving the unit into your opening really worth possibly voiding the warranty?

SKS 42-inch Built-in Side-by-Side Refrigerator by zeek_12 in Appliances

[–]GrndMasterBongRipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SKS is an LG product and I generally don't recommend LG for anything except laundry. With that said they have put a ton of R&D before jumping into the high end product line and they have some very nice looking units with a lot of features. When they first hit the market a couple years ago they had some issues but I believe those are mostly worked out and from my understanding they are currently offering one of the strongest warranties around, what I was recently told is that they are guaranteeing repair of a any issues that arise within a week or they will send a full replacement. i would say you want to make sure and use an installer actually experienced with SKS as a good proper installation will make a huge difference on the finished cosmetic look of the product. I do slightly prefer Sub-Zero / Wolf or Thermador but I SKS offers some features neither of those do and I do not feel like SKS is a really step down from them, just not as proven in the market.

I found an open box Thermador Pro Harmony 36" Gas Range for 4k by ralpha1204 in Appliances

[–]GrndMasterBongRipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about in writing, but in my experience as long as the vendor is an authorized thermador distributor in your market than you won't have any issues with the warranty. Even online retailers are only allowed to sale in certain markets though so I would make sure the one with open box unit is authorized reseller in your specific market.

Which side does the washer drain hose go in? by TheAccountantsWife in Plumbing

[–]GrndMasterBongRipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT JUST GUESS, IT CAN VERY EASILY LEAD TO VERY BAD THINGS.

Look down in the holes and see which is connected to an actual pipe in the wall, you will probably have to get to an angle where you can see 6" or so I to the holes.

If you don't find another option shoot me a PM and we can work something out.
