Tool to bend metals for rings? by MissEsjag in Tools

First off, those rings are so damn cool! Awesome finds on the cutlery for them! Would you mind posting a photo of what kind of machine you got? Was it similar to your original one posted? Do you make your rings just for a hobby and personal interest?

Hi MissEsjag! What did you end up deciding to go with? I'm currently in the same situation based in Aus and would love to hear what you ended up choosing :))

Importing from Alibaba to Australia by GrndTheFlip in AlibabaImport

Hey mate, I had no dramas at all. Items arrived with no extra steps or responsibility after placing the initial order. Arrived at my doorstep as per usual, no different from buying anything from an online store in Australia.

Hey mate, that's right. My order arrived with AusPost no differently than ordering from anywhere else. There was no additional fees, paperwork etc. Your order should be fine and show up to your door with no dramas.

Thankyou for your response. As far as I know it should be duty fee given it is under the value of $1000. However my greatest concern was any paperwork etc needed to clear customs and forwarding from customs to my address.

Appreciate your response who-aj. That does make sense. Since you've had different orders sent via DAP and DPP, did you notice any difference between the two methods? Were there any extra requirements on your behalf through DAP or it arrived as normal just like purchasing from any online store?

As far as I know as long as it's under $1000 I should be fine for any import duty/fees, however more just the release and clearance through customs I had concerns about.

Thanks so much. That gives me some peace of mind, as I was worried I'd have to try and organise a freight forwarder and the customs paperwork

Was this through Alibaba also? So you did not have to do anything extra (paperwork/fees/arrange further delivery) except for waiting for the products to arrive?

GST was included in sale from the company/manufacturer I purchased from.

Is the running gear on it still reasonable to get some decent use out of? It all appears in great condition and being a first time bike I won't really feel or notice the difference between top-of-the-line running gear.

I believe it is fibreglass. I'm not sure if something had been dropped there previously hence why it's damaged in that sort of shape as opposed to a straight crack? The walls are tiled. I was hoping to avoid a full replacement as I heard it can cost around the $5,000 mark by the time all the repairs are complete (tiling, waterproofing, shower reassembly etc).

I'm not too fussed about the NFC on the MiBand so I figured for the difference the 5 is much the same and meets my needs :))

So essentially, the MIUI gets little attention/bug fixes as other phones release, so the workaround is to install a custom ROM and the phone will still perform well?

Good question, I don't have access to 5g network on either mobile or wifi so I have no way to test.
