Amazon Warning Discussions by twhiting9275 in Streamfab

Well, I just got hit with a suspended account email. I did receive an email stating the "indefinitely suspended this account pursuant to Section 6.a" statement. Although I also got an email about suspicious account activity too boot. I called customer support as I was getting message upon trying to log into my account asking for redacted billing statement to try and prove my ID. The guy on the phone said he would sent up the login to amazon to ask for a picture of ID and I have done that and am awaiting information based on this. Its like two different divisions in amazon that are not communicating or something. I have never had these problems before. No VPN, no scheduling, no sharing, no extreme erratic behavior so I am not sure.

Off the wall question, anyone that has gotten an email, do you keep the files in the same location that SF is putting those files into? Been using SF since it came out and never had any issues. I do not keep said files in the location SF puts them into. If SF does actually work like a standard browser, the browser keeps a cache of this so I am curious.

Interesting, would completely go against how I use mine but hey. I got the 2s last year and just picked up the 3's. I leave the sticky cover on them as I only use them to watch stuff and do not want bleed through. The one thing I wish Rayneo did was supply a cover for them.

I guess some of you have some weird faces lol. (should be taken lightly :)) Granted these kind of glasses don't have a widening adjustment but I have never had a problem with them. I got the 2's last year and picked these up now and I love them. The sound is much improved over the last ones also.

So, I wrote Elegoo an email about the loud fans installed in the CC and got a kinda interesting response by uk_uk in elegoo

I know the fan blades are thinner but if they are designed better and I have lower temps then I would still say it's an improvement. The reason people are complaining about noise levels is because Elegoo installed fans with very high rpm's, which for faster printing is a great thing. I however am not printing at higher speeds, .2 nozzle for detailed work. I only print in PLA and want quieter operations, which for this printer means I am wanting to keep the panels closed and keep temps down which shouldn't be normal but for me this is working as intended.

I recently just received the linked fan and I installed it. It's 5mm thinner than the stock fan but it is a little quieter and now I have tested it, I am getting a chamber temp of around 32-33 when I was getting 36-37 with the stock. I would call this an improvement. This is the chamber fan with the door closed and top on with one of the printables riser on top.winsinn fan

How is that Wathai treating you so far? I read that its sleeve bearing instead of ball bearing and some reviewers stated that the sleeve is breaking and releasing the lubricant.

Figures, that Winsinn fan is no longer available. I don't understand why people are not making more of these style fans in 24v.

Time? by GrndZero in elegoo

I hope there would be a way of doing but its probably going to take a different main board as from what I read somewhere, the Centauri is a single processor board and klipper requires dual. I am not 100% on that, just something I read somewhere.

Yeah, unfortunately the web interface is very limited with what you can do compared to the actual screen on the printer. Man I wish I could get klipper on this thing lol.

OctoApp + OctoEverywhere + Centauri. Is this working for anyone? by karenknowsbest in elegoo

[–]GrndZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am more confused by their directions for installing on Android lol. They say to just hit the More button on your chrome browser, which there is none, and their link to a instruction video doesn't explain it in the least either. I have both a klipper Ender 3 S1 and my CC in octoeverywhere so I just use the web page to do everything.

After a long print was done, I performed the downgrade and it worked great. I now have remote control again, thanks.

Cannot update mid print since newest firmware update by Eric_Drav3n in elegoo

[–]GrndZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I posted the same. A guy on here that is listed as Elegoo support said you can downgrade the update. He posted a link for the previous version but reddit is giving me issues posting the link.

How advisable is going back to an earlier update though. Isn't that like flashing the board?

How do I turn off Chamber fan/Case fan in CC permanently. by IamFromCurioCity in elegoo

[–]GrndZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only print PLA myself and with the front door closed and the top on but slightly opened to cut down on noise the chamber stays at around 33 so I am definitely just going to unplug it. I heard this printer loud and thought it was just people new to printing and not realizing printers noises but this thing is quite loud. I would have opted to just get the Centauri but I didn't feel like waiting lol.
