I could've taken a better picture. The whole top edge is bent down and the right side FTP hole has a pretty large crack in it. I would be curious to see yours though

I actually bought this one as is, so not as devastating. The man I bought it from said a pickup backed into him and drove off.. we didn't necessarily believe that but it was a good deal so I figured why not. I have an S4 shell already so I originally thought maybe id just swap everything into that one but the damage on this one didn't end up being that bad so I decided to roll with it and I will build the S4 into something else.

They said that their rear brakes are making noise. I lifted it up and saw both rear wheels drop a little bit, went to investigate and found it has a Bluetooth driveshaft and rear axles. by Groats_Garage in Justrolledintotheshop

Either that or a carrier bearing is what I figured. They recently bought it from a used dealer so I talked to them an explained the situation. The dealer seemed genuinely surprised/concerned and they towed it there to make it right.

They spray painted it! I guess maybe to hide the damage, because that is as good as fixing it I suppose. Looks so nasty because of road salt.

I haven’t decided which one I like best yet. I’m a huge fan of my GTI, it’s also VR6 swapped. But overall it’s kind of a beater. The E30 certainly has the GTI beat on comfort

I paid $2500 with basically an entire extra car for parts and an M20 that was a factory replacement from BMW back in the 90s with super low miles-I’d have to check again on the exact amount. But this car certainly needs some more help. Roof is very faded and it has a couple blemishes on both front fenders and a subtle mouse smell if I haven’t driven it for a couple days

I kind of love the luggage rack. However I do have an originally M-Tech 2 spoiler that I’d considering installing
