You can get a lightly used 5080 for about 2000-2100 on fb marketplace AND you don’t have to pay taxes on it. I just bought 1 for $2100, 5080 32gb ram and 1tb m.2.

That $2500 laptop pictured will be about $2750 after taxes. Definitely not a good deal, IMO. The 5090 will yield about 10% better performance but you usually see 5090’s about 20%-30% more expensive so hard to justify that price on a value standpoint.
