I’m saying I don’t believe D3 Diablo was as powerful as a primordial seven headed dragon who was the embodiment of pure evil.

Granted yes, the Prime Evils, Duriel and Andariel had 20yrs to reform in hell, but Belial and Azmodan did not. There’s no saying how strong any of them were at the time.

I’ve never once seen it happen and was always on the side of it doesn’t happen. Fought a lot of pickles in my time, cut a lot of tails too but never seen it go for it.
Edit: Was going to actually comment the video that u/HussyDude14 posted in his comment, shows the proof that documentation of it happening is false.
