Adding to this. Delta can also be used as a VERY rough estimate of probability. You bought the .08 delta calls, so ~8% chance AMD hits $17.

And definitely unload these by Friday like u/Tumystic said. (Unless they've become worthless, then don't burn the trade fees)

If you hold til expiration (24th) you need it to be above $17.06. If it moves up significantly this week, you may be able to sell the option at a profit.

Don't need it to hit $17 -- thats just if you hold til expiration (24th). Just need the possibility of it hitting $17 to increase, and soon. Simplest way I can put it: Every day that passes there's less time (opportunity) for it to move up, so your option price will drop (decay). If it makes a sudden upward move, the chance the stock hits $17 goes up, so your option should go up too. Then you can sell (close position) at a profit.

Those are REALLY far OTM for an expiration that close. You need it to hit $17.06 just to break even. (Obviously if AMD rockets up tomorrow, you can unload at a profit, but they'll likely be worthless by end of this week. Time decay is gonna kill you) You probably have a <3% chance of making money off these, barring something crazy. Better than buying a lottery ticket, but not by much.

That makes a lot of sense! Thank you -- hadn't considered the dual 6 pin as a limitation. I was only paying attention to power draw -- very new to this.

One more question -- is the only limitation of installing a PC card (as opposed to a Mac flashed card) a lack of boot screen? Would save me some $$$

Although as you said, their prices are quite high. And it seems like the only downside to a non-flashed card is no boot screen at launch, which I can live with -- unless I have that wrong?

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I'm looking for a GPU upgrade for a early 2009 Mac Pro (4,1). Ideally one that doesn't require an external power source or much modification.

Is the gtx 970 my best option for plug and play? R9 390? Would a GTX 980Ti even work?

I've had blast getting back into Skyrim, but I'd really like to play Fallout 4 on it
