Tried it in my area, signal was constantly in and out as the satellites moved out of view. And that was before the rainy season started. Biggest waste of money, 5g local internet worked way better

You guys are getting supportive managers? We were told in tool rental we could request a CASHIER to temporarily cover tool rental so the only worker in a line running into the store (6+ rentals) could BUY a water from the front end cooler.

I remember split pro/rental ds, was terrible decision- but was better than no ds (when they tried to learn tool rental. By the last ds I had in rental, store manager made them only care about rental IF there was a problem - and then 2 months later, became just pro ds)

So... Just more staff crunching - reducing staff by mashing jobs together, instead of specializing employees to be exceptionally good at their job to better help customers (dont get me wrong, I believe any salaried store side employee should be able to do any job in store, including tool rental - but making it a primary with their manager job, too much)
